This doesn't work for my '06 TB. Been behaving this way since I took off the HVAC switch to do something I forgot. I thought it was a bad controller, so I bought a used one from eBay, same problem. Oh well...problematic SUV, giving me lots of headaches.
Ok so if your watching this video, you probably disconnected your battery for too long and now you don’t have air blowing in your face. (which really sucks when you live in the southern stares) you have probably tried all the fixes and suggestion available to fix this and you are tired of putting money in your trailblazer that seems to be held together with freaking Elmer’s glue. Well I can’t tell you how to make the dang thing recalibrate when nothing seems to be working but I did find a way to cool off without it. If you remove your headrest and turn on your backseat AC you can turn the vents located on the ceiling directly behind the front seats 180 degrees and it will blow nice cold air down your back. I wish I had read a comment like this a few weeks ago when I finally gave up on trying to recalibrate. Hope this comment helps someone to be more comfortable if they can’t fix it either.
my 2006 chevy, trailblazer blows hot air in the rear after changing the two rear actuators. The front vent does not blow any air. All other vents work. Can anyone tell me whats going on?
Marva Samuel Make sure they installed the correct actuators. Some acuators are the correct part number but actually turn the wrong direction and leave the blend door open. I've personally had this happen.
Very inaccurate. Most of what he said is dead wrong & misleading the people. And majority o f these GM issues aren't as simple to fix as reset!! I really love his large Crescent wrench on a tiny 5/16" battery bolt!!! He doesn't even know the names of the hvac outlets!!! Definitely not a Master tech or any tech. Worst video I have seen in yrs.
Saying if this doesn't work then you have to pay over a 100 bucks to get it reprogrammed is not necessary correct blender motor actuators go bad. They are located behind lower dash and cost about $20 to replace. But yeah sure take it to the dealer👍

That didn't work because it's not the problem. The problem is the foam sealer inside the blend doors when it decinigeates it let's the door go past the factory setting. I live in Florida so I only want AC so it's the middle actuator on drivers side up towards the windshield. I manually turned the actuator without removing it then left the wire harness plug off. Works fine 2 weeks later.
I will tell u something tried this didn't work,I disconnected my negative post battery and my Front a/c stopped working, tried everything and nothing, found out the problem it was the blower motor resistor,as soon as I changed it booom started to work, its located under the passenger compartment, its probably like 30 bucks new,I got mine in the junkyard, for 5 bucks
Try at your own risk I'll see it worked for some people I tried it and now my envoy is running like s*** it has to go to modern Chevrolet to figure out what the problem is now I went from AC blowing only on the floor and defrost 2 idle problems and my envoy turning off when I turn on the AC it didn't work for me like I said at your own risk

Was the fuse put back in the same spot? If so, you could have a clog in the refrigerant line or a bad compressor. The Idle Air Control Solenoid could be acting up as well.

it's work in my chevy 2015 just i set the control in the front position disconnect the battery wait 2 min and work perfect thanks
Did you use the same fuses or new ones?
Ey I got a 2015 Chevy equinox and it won’t blow air from the from just bottom do u know how to fix that?
This doesn't work for my '06 TB. Been behaving this way since I took off the HVAC switch to do something I forgot. I thought it was a bad controller, so I bought a used one from eBay, same problem. Oh well...problematic SUV, giving me lots of headaches.
So my trailblazer blows cold air from the front and the back bottom vent but it doesn't blow from the ceiling vent, why??
How to start as c
I did exactly every thing you said the problem was big bro I'm gonna this I think it's gonna effin work you da on mista Jones!
It actually worked thank you so much Brodie bless and love 💯❤🦾🦾💪💪👏👏
my 2006 chevy, trailblazer blows hot air in the rear after changing the two rear actuators. The front vent does not blow any air. All other vents work. Can anyone tell me whats going on?
Marva Samuel Make sure they installed the correct actuators. Some acuators are the correct part number but actually turn the wrong direction and leave the blend door open. I've personally had this happen.
Nice!
Did not work!! And your video is inconsistent.........
I've tried this on both mine and my father's trailblazer and this didn't work
Thanks worked for me, but I had to disconnect the ecu too thanks for posting.
had the same question for you, Do restart the engine without these fuses on?
Did not work. Our shop laptop has GM software and showed the commands are ok, but blend door motor not working.
2006 Chevy Trailblazer - followed exactly - for a while, did not start as if battery was not connected. DID NOT WORK.
Saying if this doesn't work then you have to pay over a 100 bucks to get it reprogrammed is not necessary correct blender motor actuators go bad. They are located behind lower dash and cost about $20 to replace. But yeah sure take it to the dealer👍
Didn't work on my 07. 😢
Have a question my 04 trailblazer blows out of all my vents in the front
Made my shit start ticking trying to work but just ticking as soon as I turn the key. Thanks....
Another person had the same issue, here's what you need to do.
What has happened is, when you disconnected the battery, it reset the PCM, "power control module". More than likely, your throttlebody is really dirty and resetting it to factory defaults the PCM picked up on it. What I would do is spray down the throttle body with throttle body cleaner, you can pick it up at your local auto parts store. Make sure you disconnect the battery when doing this and afterwards reconnect so it resets again. After that everything should run fine.
It also wouldn't hurt to clean the mass air flow sensor with mass air flow cleaner spray. You can get it at your local auto parts store.
didn't work for me
is any one know how to change the vents manually
So what do you need to do when 1,2,3, is working but 4 & 5 aren't working...
Blower motor resistor. About 35 bucks O'Reillys
the defrost on my truck stays on even after the vehicle is off...what could be the issue??
Sounds like the a/c control unit is the problem.
I respect the help but holy hell the size of that adjustable...
I'm going to attempt doing this recalibration myself and if not I will open her up. What pin pointed the problem to be the blower motor resistor?
muchas gracias ;)
Try at your own risk I'll see it worked for some people I tried it and now my envoy is running like s*** it has to go to modern Chevrolet to figure out what the problem is now I went from AC blowing only on the floor and defrost 2 idle problems and my envoy turning off when I turn on the AC it didn't work for me like I said at your own risk

This makes me hate my trailblazer even more.
So what happened and the and
im gonna try this bro geez
So I tried this like you said...caused another issue. Now not only does the vent selection still not work...now my RPMs dip so low when the airs on it shuts off the engine. Tried it over again...and disconnected the battery again and still does it. Thanks for more issues. fuck!
Was the fuse put back in the same spot? If so, you could have a clog in the refrigerant line or a bad compressor. The Idle Air Control Solenoid could be acting up as well.
Troy Sisson Please help. Today is Thursday August 24 and I have just tried this fix and now I have the exact same symptoms that you had!! This sucks!! Please help. How did you fix yours??
My 2004 Trailblazer doesn't believe you.
Ain't nobody got time fo dat! Jk 😂😂😂
didnt' even tell us if it worked on yours..... guess it didnt? haha
didn't work for me 😠😠😠
BS
The shit don't work brother
It worked for my 07. Removed all 4 fuses, waited about 1 hour. After I installed fuses it worked.
What a bs useless post.
