  • Step-by-step guide on how to replace / remove / install car battery on Ford Focus sedan. Pulling out that battery is not as easy as on most of the other cars, but definitely doable with a bit of patience. ( 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | S | SE | SEL | ST | TITANIUM ).

Battery keeps dying or draining the power? You might have to install a new one.
First you will have to remove the air box to be able to access the car battery. Then you will want to remove the front part of the battery box and then pull the battery a bit out, just enough to be able to unscrew and disconnect negative battery pole. Watch the video to see how I did it.
There was lots of wind on the day of recording, so the video isn't the best quality.
    Thanks for watching.

Thank you for this video, it made my replacement of the battery simple! Now if you could buy a 2011 Dodge Ram and post videos on how to fix that truck, I would appreciate it. Cheers, Chris

Battery negative is always first to be removed and last to be installed.

      Seems impossible on this car?

Negative grounds directly to the chassis on the driver side strut tower. You can remove the chassis side of the cable as opposed to the battery side
