I once fell asleep listening to her and dreamt I was in the middle of a desert and could faintly hear Ichiko playing. Then a wolf found me and told me to follow and he led me to the bottom of a giant crater where Ichiko was playing and me and the wolf ran up to the front of the stage, watched her and cried.
This concert was a very zen experience... Only reason my parents agreed to take me was because my uncle was the opening act. Seeing how much I love her music also, I thought I would ask my parents to bring me and suprisingly they agreed. After the show, I was able to go backstage and meet Ichiko which to this day is one of my favorite experiences. Love everything she does.
@@uyamashiranui1833 There was not a ton of conversation, though I did get a picture and she was very kind. It wasn't the longest interaction due to my social anxiety. I think the funniest part of the whole story is I wore my Japanese Nintendo sweatshirt not really thinking about it and she saw it and was able to read it (obviously) and made a very accurate Yoshi noise which was just really wholesome and funny. I didn't realize this was really a rare thing at the time but recently I realized how little she comes to the US. Truly was a special moment in my life :)
@@BedrockSolid thank you for the kind words! i've loved seeing his music grow throughout my life, he started out in a rock band and just eventually moved into the stuff he does now. im really proud of everything he's done with music!
I'm so glad I went, this was my first time at a concert ever! It was so surreal and beautiful, I wanna re-live it 😅. Walking to the car, I wanted her to start over so bad 😂
uuu i cant believe i found this!!! i literally think about this every day, no joke. i went up to atl from florida to see this and i was almost crying the whole time, i live her so so much. i filmed most of it too nfksndjdj😭😭💗
1:00:57 you’re a life saver! i was at this exact concert but my phone would not allow me to record but i was blown away by this concert and my jaw was dropped the entire time. i have been looking for this song live/this performance because i remember coming back home and telling my whole family about this particular song and how i didn’t move an inch the entire time because of how taken aback i was from her quick fingers on the strings. by far the best performance i’ve ever seen. even if i could have recorded that song, i wouldn’t have been able to pull my phone out from how frozen i was, i was hypnotized. now i can show my family the thing that has me amazed, thank you so much!!!
I want to be back at this concert so badly. It was such an amazing experience and I was really happy to see a lot of fellow vibers in Atlanta come to the show! Thank you for recording this so I can relive the moment!
This setlist is perfect! Ikinokori●Bokura and Down in the adan song is my favorite song. Her singing voice and guitur play is looks like Shrine maiden。
The concert of a lifetime! Hearing her voice reverberate throughout the theater was nothing short of spiritual. I was even lucky enough to catch one of her tulips!
Thanks for sharing! Ponyo's song is not her new song. Joe Hisaishi's cover of "Rondo of the House of Sunflowers ". th-cam.com/video/irW4PxFWjds/w-d-xo.html

That's sick, I haven't heard of any American fans meeting Ichiko before. Did y'all talk about anything?

Halfway through Kikai Jikake, I was thinking "This crowd better pop off once this song is over, she is KILLING it." And of course, they did lol

Would anyone know what synth she is using?
new song 2 title?
why someone is always coughing on ichiko's concerts xDDD
Right? Her "gift" live album has a prominent cougher throughout the concert lmao
