I am not dissing Fauzia.
I ended up watching the video. You didn’t prove to me that Samara is better than Faouzia at all. They can both do an equal amount of things in the same areas. No, her head voice is not better than Faouzia. Faouzia’s has a very strong head voice that is comparable to operatic singing. Especially when she’s singing this song called “blue”. There are other examples, but that’s the one that stands out. As for singing jazz, Faouzia proved that she can do that with “fly me to the Moon”, even though she doesn’t scat, which is the only thing that I would say that Samara does that she doesn’t do. She doesn’t have the jazz training, so she’s doing pretty damn well matching up to a trained jazz singer in spite of not being trained herself.
Sorry but gotta say you're not being objective. Samara has way more advanced chest coordination from mid to high belts fuller and rounder. Faouzia tend to get pushed, thin squeezed above D5. Plus her head voice is amazingly controlled up to D6 with operatic embellishments. Faouzia? Her hv tend to get pushed and shrill above A5 her vibrato is also laggy and fell to tremolo she's a soprano that can't even fully secure a B5. There's no operatic quality there just pop head voice
@@ventus-ni3hd I'm saying that to be able to compete with Samara in hv at least she should be able to fully secure a B5/C6 the fact that her Bb5s are pushed and shrill

sorry but Faouzia can't stand a chance. I am so bored when she sings. no soul at all.
Ok
Not here to watch, I just want to post this performance of her singing Gnarls Barkley “crazy”. I never noticed it before, but I think it’s one of Faouzia’s most nuanced performances ever. m.th-cam.com/video/E13N_i_NmTk/w-d-xo.html
I have to say that, in the past, all these so-called vocal experts have said that her head voice is thin, but if you listen to her performances of “blue” she goes into almost at operatic head, voice in those performances. So it’s all a matter of the chosen style.
It's still pretty thin and her vibrato is too fast
@@allykelly she uses an Arabic vibrato it is not too fast, it is fast, but is so incredibly hard to do
@@walkercresswell1721 well sometimes it's caprino

Tori do u think Bada is a sopranino? Her voice is childlike but imo she doesn't sound as effortless as the other sopraninos i've heard. But maybe that's because she's not as developed compared to the other sopraninos
Bada is a chesty belter, thats why. Even for a high Soprano, trying to use the same coordination as hers at F5-A5 will give permanent injury to their voices lmao.

You have to find no autotune singing of Faouzia to make this comparison. I think some of the performances here (even live ones) has autotune.

Samara. Faouzia has a good voice but sounds like any good pop singer.
Faouzia is rarely out of tune. You should listen to her songs. She's an amazing vocalist not just good.
@jordywoody14 I am only talking about the voice. Any good singer can stay in tune, but what I look for is a voice I can recognize if I've never heard the song before. Such artists include Angelina Jordan, Samara Joy, Sophie Millman, the late Michael Jackson and Prince, Amy Winehouse, Teena Marie, etc. There just aren't too many who fit the bill. I am not dissing Fauzia.
@@themusicwriter1 Faouzia's voice is definitely unique to me. The Moroccan style of her voice is lovely and her deep register is cool.

I literally haven't watched the video, and I already know that Faouzia has won
Samarah Vaughan wins
