Bros (/brɒs/) were an English band formed in 1986 in Camberley, Surrey. The band originally consisted of twin brothers Matt and Luke Goss, and their friend Craig Logan, who attended Collingwood School in Camberley. The band was managed by former Pet Shop Boys manager Tom Watkins. They achieved chart success and a large teenage fanbase in 1988 with songs such as "When Will I Be Famous" and "I Owe You Nothing."" Early the following year, Logan quit the band, and the Goss twins continued as a duo. After two more albums, the band split up in 1992
Actually the shape of the "Drop the boy" vinyl was not like the usual round design of a vinyl. The shape of the vinyl was that three-prong design. It was actually a 7" vinyl length of track, not 12" version of the tracks. Yes, it was a novelty design and purchase. However, I was attracted to the shape of the record as it was intended - aimed not only at Bros fans but also of record collectors too
Hi everyone, As the saying goes "Someone's trash is someone else's treasure" It could not be truer, as aside from the rare find of "Drop the boy" 12 inch vinyl by Bros, I also made a second purchase of a 7 inch vinyl of Luke Goss's solo music project (since Bros, the band he and his brother formed, had since disbanded) Luke Goss & The Band of Thieves "Sweeter than the midnight rain" I knew of Luke Goss pursuing acting since he left Bros, however it was news to me that he was in his own band too 😊
