Ti dò un po di info su questa canzone e sul video ... Mentre erano a Los Angeles per registrare il disco Rush Damiano si è sentito solo perche la famiglia e la sua ragazza di allora non potevano andare da lui e si è trovato a pensare " ma se io muoio adesso la mia famiglia sa quanto io li ho amati ? " E ha scritto questa canzone come una sorta di testamento per loro ... Il video racconta di un Damiano che muore annegando ma siccome non ha detto addio a nessuno decide di reincarnarsi ( l'uomo che cade dal cielo ) per salutare tutti infatti all'inizio non sa che sta partecipando al suo funerale , poi come comincia a piovere gli torna alla mente , e il foglio che gli esce dalla bocca rapresenta le parole mai dette . A quel punto tutti cominciano a capire e in preda al panico fuggono , tutti , tranne gli amici della band che cercano di trattenerlo con loro ma damiano sa che il suo tempo e finito quindi torna nella fossa che è piena d'acqua forse a simboleggiare le lacrime versate per lui .
Appena uscita questa canzone Damiano ha perso il suo amato nonno proprio mentre era partito per il tour in Mexico e la sua famiglia gli ha chiesto il permesso di far suonare questa canzone al suo funerale . C'è un video del concerto a Mexico city dove si vede Damiano che non riesce a cantare per il pianto 😭 .

I love how in this video the water represents pain, he's drowning in pain at the start and at the end, and the rain represents the sorrow, and then the rage when it becomes a thunderstorm. Great video for a great song.

Just so high quality on a very difficult subject.
The beauty of open songs is that everyone interprets them in their own way and there is no right or wrong.
For me, a moment before he suddenly drowned, he leaves his body and attends his funeral to say what he had never said before to the people he loves.
At the end of the video he returns to that moment and dies. Really a great reaction.
I like that a lot as well. Great writing and it leaves room for the listener to absorb and relate it to their own life and experiences.

It's a very strong hanger lyrics.

I heard an interview where Damiano said the song is about a love letter and a will. He wrote it at a very difficult time in his life, when he was far from home and the people he loves...

Not a solo career, a solo project.. it's not the same and he couldn't be more clear about that, solo project for everyone to grow and then share the experiments with the band so the band can grow . But I'm so curious to hear what will be the musical direction he will choose 😋 I'm sure we'll be surprised by everyone of them I can't wait
