- This aerial film depicts Guwahati, the economic hub of North East India, and how its everyday noisy and busy streets came to a standstill because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We went out there to document these historic moments. Let us take in this mesmerising view of Guwahati while being safe at home.
This film is dedicated to the unrelenting efforts of all the doctors, nurses, police and everyone who has been working in the front lines
& to all the victims and their families.
Filmed on 6th & 7th April, 2020.

We all know what Guwahati means to us. The hustle and bustle of Paltan and fancy bazar to the calmness of Brahmaputra and deepor beel.
From the top of neelachal hill to chandmari flyover.
Guwahati is more of an emotion rather than a city.
Stay strong..it might take a year to come over this virus. But we will win and that's for sure.. we are in the darkest hour of our lives. But after every darkness, there is a light.

I really miss The time i had spend in assam this state became my 2nd most incredible place next to my home place.. biadoh aita dada.were we used to call mostly😊... bhaall ase ..might it is wrong please assume ,,only one depressed time occur when go oit in the crowd foothpath some guys used to take advantage from only this embrassing moment feel unhappy but others all was very much fine everything were good... I really2 miss ... stay safe everyone 🙏

I was brought up in the beautiful Guwahati...my guwahati.. the wonderful lakes.. the lanes..the science museum..the kamakhya temple..the dighali pukhuri.. the momo house.. the adda...the brilliant people... the struggle ..my college --gauhati commerce college.. m profs ..my friends... my parents.. we all belong here.. what a place..what a culture.... !!

The other day I saw a similar film on Mumbai. I wished then that I had the means to film Guwahati in a similar fashion. Kudos to Prayash Sharma Tamuly and team. You have captured these haunting images for posterity.

Din mein 2 baar dettol liquid say na nahata aur poray ghar mein 2-3 din baad (dettol, hydrogen peroxide aur methylated spirit) ka spray na karta. Bas shehroon ki yeh odaas sarkein dekhi nahein jaati jahan par pehli ronakein hoa karti thein, log freely ghooma kartay thay, mein just os time ko miss kar raha hon kay kab wo daur wapas lautay ga.

I spent my college days (the most memorable years for any student)around 6 years in this city. This city taught me a lot either you give up or rise up. Before moving into this city i used to be a very lazy person but hard times over there made me realize the value of time. I had so many memorable moments with my friends some of them are very good and some are bad. Obviously did some unbelievable crazy things which is normal for college dudes and had lifelong experiences. I still try to make a visit in this city after every 3 months gap..
