Great video good sir! However i do think the normal fell beast looks alil better on display with the tower just because i think the size matches better
It matches better for the interior of the tower, but the exterior is designed in far far smaller than microfig scale, meaning the inclusion of minifigs on the outside ruin the idea Barad-dûr is a giant fortress.
You forgot a fourth improvement of the Barad Dur set. Replace the two black support bars for the Great Eye with two trans clear antenna (part 3957b) and four round 1 x 1 plates with hole part 85861 in trans-orange or trans-clear. For about 45 cents in parts the eye looks much better.

I went into a Lego store, and I was telling them about my Legos, and they suggested this. but I've found no TH-cam videos or anything online about that eye upgrade. what color did you use for the 1x1 plate with hole? I can't wait to do this upgrade though. I just ordered all the pieces I need for this awesome upgrade as seen in the video. 😊
Bro read this. Change the black pipe bars which are holding the eye of Sauron to clear transparant pipe bars! I just did this and it is way more awesome! Now the eye floats more. Those clear pieces dont exist from official lego so i ordered custom ones from a fake brand which are the exact same size etc
I did this too...looks MUCH better, yes. You do not need to order custom fake pieces. Get two trans clear antenna and four round 1 x 1 plates with hole (in trans-orange or trans-clear). Works great.
It really does need the extension. I went with the one on rebrickable by emilewski. He has Both a 7” and 14” version. His 7” version has fewer parts and is estimated about $10 cheaper than the one shown here. The end result is fantastic.
nice that's awesome. however, correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe those are the exact same builds as the ones from the set. so, when putting in on it will look good, but there will be 2 doors, and it will just look a little off. this one as shown in the video is Custome and built a little different. the creator Pixabricks even added more to the rock work going up the set.

Pixabricks created a continuation of the rock wall, but emilewski did the same as what Lego did with the tower base and it looks just fine as the original does at the base. emilewski has the extra tower support pin for a stronger connection while Pixabricks did not. And there are NOT two doors; the instructions are to disassemble the original door and rebuild it at the base reusing those pieces, and to build a new window where the door was (as seen in the full completed tower photo). There is some repetition in the windows (not door) for the 14" tower to add consistent flow, with some windows being unique. The 7" version has unique windows but in a similar style as the original set. It all comes down to preference of course. Options are great.

I don't understand why Lego sets need to be brought to a normal state. I don't get them for free, why should I buy anything else on Bricklink? Well, then release a "zoom module" set.
Apparently I got the measures all wrong so here is the correction: expansion alone: 6,5 inch = 16,51 cm. Expansion added to tower 39 inch = 99cm
