Have you seen some of the Class 701s on test runs before they start service on the suburban lines, Windsor & Eton Riverside and Reading Lines which are replacing the Class 455, Class 456, Class 458 and Class 707 (that Class 707 are cascaded to Southeastern). And possibly SWR to keep the Class 458s for the Alton & Aldershot routes and SWR Class 455s cascaded to Southern.

To be fair I actually quite like the new trains that Greater Anglia have ordered and the Class 745 & Class 755 Flirts are in service. With the Class 720 Aventras to enter service late this year.

19:47 i live on greater anglia territory,the 720s are wrong,keep the refurbished 321 and 360 and 379 and refurbished 317,but the FLIRTs are good and the norwich service getting extended from cambridge to stansted is interesting
I also live in GA territory. I think the renutus 321s are staying until 2022 (I think) and the 360s could have stayed really, they are perfect for the GEML, fast acceleration, nice interior, AC and have a smooth ride. Oh and look great in the GA purple. I'm not sure about the 720s but from what I've seen, the seats don't look like ironing boards. When the 321s go I will be sad though as I do love them to bits ngl
Also for the 379s, I don't like them and they don't suit the airport runs, 745s are actually quite nice. For the 317s, well I hate to say it but they are in dire need of replacement. Some units especially have show their age but if the aventras take their spot I will honestly want to live somewhere where they will have proper trains (I hate aventras if you can't tell)
I want Greater Anglia to keep the Class 379s. And to use them on the Great Eastern routes including on the Southend Victoria line & Crouch Valley Line.
