    After spending all day surfing the web, looking the best UPS for my WiFi router, i stumbled upon your video...reviews on Takealot had it that the NPS is not a UPS but a battery bank as it did not provide an auto start during grid power loss, obviously those people did not know how to set this device up the way you just wonderfully demonstrated! Now i know exactly what to do when this product arrives at my doorstep...your speech is super steady, i did not miss a thing you said, so cool! I love you for this and i`m subscribing to your channel...

    Hi, just set up the NPS (big one) - question. On the user manual it says that 5 indicates the ups is working in battery mode. Is this supposed to be on while the power is on? I would have expected it to only come on when the power is out. Not sure if I did something wrong?

    • @Jacqie
      @Jacqie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So the lights show the battery level, and it will be on if you have it turned on even if it is plugged in. As long as it doesn't deplete, then you should be fine.
      But you need to have it on in order for your router etc to stay powered when loadshedding hits.

    So the 10800 mah shows 7.6Hours Wifi. While the 12000mah shows 6 hours. Should the 12000 mah not last longer

    • @Jacqie
      @Jacqie  ปีที่แล้ว

      It isn't all about the battery capacity there are much more at play for example the 12000 mah unit is only 18w while the 10 000 unit is 30w. There are also other factors like the amount of USB ports etc that affect all these numbers and how long devices can be powered for. Plus both of them have a similar wh battery capacity meaning how many watts it can provide for x amount of hours, the eco (12000mah) has a 38 wh battery while the pro (10000mah) has got a 37 wh battery meaning they are very similar when it comes to providing power to those types of units.
      So if I were to connect a 38 W power drawing device it would drain both batteries in 1 hour even though they have different mah batteries.
      Mah isn't the be all end all of stats when it comes to these devices and most often you need to look at the Wh because most products you connect will draw in watts.

    • @Jacqie

      With these ones you get a splitter cable included, so then you have one cable coming from the UPS that splits to both the routers.

    Hi, great video and very inciteful, thanks. I have a wireless access point that draws 6W of power and need to buy a UPS for this. I am thinking of Eco and Eco Pro. The Eco says 12200mah and Eco Pro is 10000mah. The price difference is R90 with Eco being cheaper. I thought the higher the mah, the better it would be? Is the Eco Pro better than the Eco even with lower mah?

      For me the eco pro is better because it has a USB C port and I sometimes use that to charge devices.
