Hey, Thanks
Check out this short :

Excellent video but i dont fully understand the poe(red) and lan(blue) connections. If i power up my router and ont with the 12v outputs whats the poe and lan for? A little clarity on that issue would b a great help.
Hey Muhammad
The POE port is ment to power a POE device like a camera or voip phone
Diffrence between red and blue is one is network in (Blue) and the other is network + Power out (Red)
@@TechSceneZA
Thanks for the reply i finally understand it, so lan(blue) would be connected to my router to give poe(red) network capabilities like an ip camera etc etc.
Can you video us how to mount the device on the plate or wall
Something else to mention. This device has Gigabit PoE, cheaper makes and some other brands that are similarly priced only does 100Mb PoE, this is usually not mentioned anywhere on the specs.
❤ the review
Awesome review. It gave me all the information I was looking for. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
How can I mount the device on the plate
i have 12v mpt contoller and i wanted connect the 12 v solar to the device. the power status of Gizzu shows red with solar connection and green with power grid.
i think the red indicator implies there is a connection via solar, but also i do know gizzu sells solar mats to connect to their devices so i think it may require direct connection to the panel.
BUT I AM NOT SURE EXACTLY HOW THE SOLAR WORKS ON THIS DEVICE, i will confirm with the distributor and refer back to you soon.
Any response in this regards?
Hi Everyone
I have discussed with the Distributor and they have provided the following input :
1.They suggest a direct connection to the solar panels
2. The Solar input should be 12-24V 2A Max 50W
when the solar connection is set up you won't see any color indicator.
When charging by 220v power you will see a yellow flashing light on the power indicator when done by solar you won't see a flashing light it will be solid as the device charges and reaches certain battery percentages.
As a test I connected my other Gizzu on its 12V output to the solar input of this device, disconnected the AC and the device started to drain as if no Solar was connected. Not a solar panel, but the Volts at 12V with enough AMP's. The solar charging part seems a bit finniky.
Has anyone had this for over a year. My Lalela ups battery onlu lasted a year and gave up one month after warranty expired.
Ours has been running 6 months Strong
and gizzu is a local Powerful brand (pun intended)
so get a Gi-zzu ( from the commercial)
Do I keep it plugged in full time ?
Hey
Yes this is an inline solution so its always plugged in and just steps in seamlessly when power drops
Yes, just plug it in, connect your devices and that's it. Set and forget. Automatically turns back on when AC is back and it was drained.
