I am a native Vietnamese speaker. I took a English listening test and found it was quite difficult. I wonder what if I try with my native language. So I tried this video. I find it difficult too. So about listening test in any language, it not only requires listening skill, but also short-term memory, quick analysis. There are even traps by making lots of misleading information or a lot of statistics which requires to memorize in no time. So don't worry if you as foreigners can't understand much of it. Talking in real life would be much easier than taking this kind of test, as I do with native English speakers.
in fact, i strongly belive that all the listenning test in all language are more difficult than real life, because it contains a lot of trap and candidate cannot remember all the data. i am vietnamese and i find it is too hard for me to do this text. the same situation happen when i do english listenning test.
I'm a native Vietnamese speaker. This test is not hard for the Vietnamese as many people here said, but the key here is we (Vietnamese) usually don't really focus on the test, and maybe don't understand the layout of the test so it results that we don't do it well. I mean yes, the struggle you meet here is exactly what I meet when doing the IELTS listening test.
Depends on your accent. I can understand the southern accent just fine even though I’m not fluent. Northern accent might as well be another language to me.
I am Vietnamese and if I do not take note the info of the test, I think I will not select at all. The test requires tester who has a good and logic memory. Anyway, it is quite hard.
Why I feel it's quite hard to understand :))) I'm a Vietnamese. wtf? I can hear all the things they read but it's like I can't choose the right answer in the end
Actually vietnamese do not talking to each other like that, we say more naturally, even the places is in formal. Sound of The Listening test like weird
minh ng VN ma minh nghe thi binh thuong nhung de chon dap an thay kho, toan tu ngu chuyen nganh. omg, lam sao ng nuoc ngoai nghe dc???? im VNese, absolutely i can hear that clearly, but i must pay attention for choosing A,B,C or D.

Em thích test này lắm.
I have an 8.0 band in the IELTS test but couldn't answer even a single question in a test that in my own language
So not used to hearing northern. So much hard than southern for me. T_T
Jacob Taylor it's okay, the southern voice is harder to learn for most people so you're working hard.
Southern accent is hard.
Actually the candidates take the test during listening.
It’s so fun that Vietnamese think they must answer all questions just after listening
Mấy bài đầu là IELTS Writing Task 1 -))
Appreciate the free listening material but could you not have ads every 4 seconds?

Wow, the speaker (boy) is a little fast..
it s kind of robot voice

Lexi Rivera, Brent Rivera, Ben Azelart, Lexi Hensler, Eva, Andrew, Mason, Caleb, Karina Kurzawa, Ronald Kurzawa, Aria Kurzawa, Freedy Kurzawa, Leah Ashe, Meganplays, Iamsanna, Moody.
someone is kind of wants to be a manager's secretary should practice this test. normal people don't say these things.
I didn't know "okay" is a vietnamese word. I never hear vietnamese people say this word in vietnam.
They say it all the time, Chris.
It’s normal, we used it anytime
Okay or ok are used frequently by Vietnamese
It's called "từ mượn" :))
yup, it's super common, many people pronounce it as "ô kê"
It's okay if you don't understand anything, I'm a native Vietnamese speaker and i don't understand sh*t lmao =))

The word "nhé" is not too loud and clear when talking like that in this video .It's kind of unnatural
Thats freakin fast.. Nhan qua
Nhanh quá
I think it was pretty slow. When you talk to Vietnamese people, they will talk faster.
And... We just wasted 1 hour of hard Vietnamese listening because of the fast and gibberish talking 😩😩😩
