great video, just picked up this game. I noticed you upgraded the same type of card Guardian with another Guardian card. Since Roland has Guardian and Seeker cards can he pick a new Guardian card and get rid of a Seeker card when upgrading.
If I own cards from expansions can I choose to deck build with those cards even if I’m doing the Night of the Zealot? Or do I have to only use cards that come with the core set for this campaign
You can use any player cards you own! The only exception is cards that belong to a campaign and are specifically designed as rewards from that campaign (for example, Lita Chandler, who comes with Night of the Zealot). You can tell these cards because their symbol doesn’t match other player cards (and usually matches a scenario).
for a 101 you are jumping over far too many basic things. beat cop has a symbol on the bottom right that looks like a chess pawn. What does it do. If there was a preliminary video before this one, this one should NOT be called 101 but 102 at least. And a link to such a 101 is missing. Are you always this sloppy? Do you actually want to convey information or not?
For clarity, it's part of a series entitled "101", this is the part about upgrading; preceding videos were about deck building and basic rules. There is a playlist with all of the videos listed. Apologies for the nomenclature. I see how I could have been clearer. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video!
@@WingingItGamingi agree this is not an intro to upgrading. This is more of upgrading strategies. We need an intro. Like how did you get those 7xp? I only get 2 when I play. Am i doing something wrong? You mentioned at the beginning something about doubling points to get that xp. Explain. We need upgrading explained.
I just recently got the revised core set and I absolutely am loving this game. Your videos help out a lot. Thanks.
That's so fantastic to hear!
Great talk aloud of the thought process. The core set is quite limited in upgrades, but that makes this a great tutorial.
Glad you find it helpful- it was a bit fun for me playing with this limited set :)
Genius sir very well explained
Thanks so much for watching!

Yep- the card you remove doesn’t affect the card you take, unless you are upgrading from an XP card to and XP card of the same name.
@@WingingItGaming I just subbed. been watching the videos all night. really helps as I'm not used to these games. thanks again!

Tongue click ticks in TH-cam videos drive me crazy, even more than um’s and uh’s. Even worse when they’re combined.
Cool don't watch it. It happens with humans sometimes.
Tongue clicks are not as bad as a**holes in the comments.
@@Southerndevilsfan Yep. A**holes like you who take offense on someone else’s behalf drive me crazy, too.
