1. Pick skinny, skinny straight, or slim. Try slim first and see how it goes. Break it in with a few squats. Size up if you have to.
2. Don't let your legs bunch.
3. Mid-rise. Don't leave too much crotch space. Makes you look shorter.
4. Don't let jeans sag on your behind!
5. Use a belt (long ad for Anson belts--skip to 6:29)
6. Don't want many pockets.
7. Don't get artificial pre-ripped (one knee slip max)
8. Gray or black jeans look fine.
9. Don't wear the wrong wash or color at the wrong time. White or light wash jeans for warmer. Medium or dark blue wash for all year round.
He should have said don’t get ripped Jeans if over 40. IMO ripped jeans look fine.

Your right about the Anson Belt. Best belts hands down! I could never go back to belts with holes. They eventually get destroyed. I’ve had a pair of Anson belts for 4 years and they still look brand new.
I am a denim fanatic. I only wear designer denim. They fit so much better. Cult of individuality is my favorite denim. I bet I have bought 50 pairs for the last 5 years. I still can’t get out of the distressed denim either. I know I’m too old to wear it but I love it.
I like celio jeans brand, it is a French company such as AE But with a more European fit and a very competitive price, I am a fanatic of the brand and I'll suggest you give it a try

American Eagle jeans fit really well. I prefer their solids over their different washes and distresses, but they have some good stuff. Their underwear are awesome too 👌🏾

I love the Levi’s 505, it’s very comfortable, and much roomier compared to other Levi’s jeans - such as the Levi’s 501.
Especially around the thigh area, which is what I imagine a lot of people might want… I wear 33-34, and I love the fit - they feel spectacular!
So if you’re looking for a bit of extra room in the thigh, and the ankle section, they’re perfect!
Anyway, that’s my two cents.

Black and Grey denim is my go to. I wear Levi's 511 Bee Eye Grey and 514 Midnight Worn...those are my favorite. I still love blue jeans but I've gravitated towards those colors.

I think one of the battles of well-fitting jeans, especially in classic denims, is that we're applying the fit and movement expectations of a wool or cotton smart-casual trouser to a fabric weight and seam construction which was never originally intended to fit that way. It's a case of "style" and "fit" becoming conflated on a garment type that wasn't historically originally designed to fit, fall, or move in the same way as we now want it to.

I've found Hollister Skinny jeans to be the best jeans for me. They're not a true "skinny jean" (they have a super skinny fit for that), they fit more like a slim fit and have a nice taper at the ankle

Best tip here...When you find an awesome pair of jeans that fit and look great on You buy More Than One Pair...and yes, save them and you won't have to go on the hunt again because you have a new pair right there. Great video!!!
Those jeans will still crease. The first time they are washed all the creases will show up.

@@coryada4307 i usually go for tapered like Alpha.M said size can vary between people depending on height… personally i would just tell the sales employee to find me the right fit if its in the store… online shopping is a huge gamble for me cuz 2 out of 3 times i end up returning the items cuz im tall and the fit is different for me.

Fitted but not too slim and then I get boot cut because I always wear cowboy boots. It is difficult to find the right pair of jeans for me but once I do, I buy like 10 pairs.

a lot of people hates on super skinny jeans but tbh they look great IF you know how to pull them off. they’re certainly not for everyone but if they fit you properly they look very stylish when worn with shoes sneakers or boots
i have big butt and legs with a smaller upper body just can't find a right jeans to fit they all look ridiculous and make my lower body look thicker, need jeans with a low rise waist and thin denim..

His Gap recommendation is sound, I could never find decent jeans at Levi’s but Gap jeans are good quality at half the price and fit really well.
I need suggestions for some lightweight/summer weight jeans, as most denim feels too heavy and clunky to me (maybe from wearing tactical pants & tech chinos the last 15 years). I'm a NAS Middleweight Strongman so, while I am pretty lean, I do have a thick posterior chain (i.e. junk in the trunk) and need room in the seat & thighs. There isn't a "slim" variant that has fit me, that I've tried; I am open to "athletic fit", but my wife actually prefers boot cut (and it's probably her I should be trying to impress...).
Bought my first black 505's and damn they look sharp but as mentioned they have a high rise I'm not too comfortable. Black jeans a must have

If you plan on being active or carrying many things on your person at all, 5.11 jeans are where it’s at. Definitely recommend you check them out.
I get my jeans either at Hollister or Aeropostale. Both have great deals and my opinion, better looking jeans than other stores. Not to mention the quality 👍

I'm 6 foot, 32 inch waist, 32 inch length. I feel like I need a 12 inch rise, otherwise the jeans won't stay at the waist and keep falling. But that fit seems rare. The only info about the rise I've seen on labels is "sits at waist" or "sits below waist". I bring a tape measure and measure the rise.

Sooner or later, one of you guys is going to recognize that smaller, higher placed back pockets compliment the backside better (my wife straightened me out on this issue) A standard, large medium or low placed back pocket (per wife) cuts the @ss in half. Take a look at Wrangler 936DEN the way the back pockets ride higher and dont crease when you walk. I like the fit of many jeans I e Mott & Bow/Joes/Tecovas etc They get the slim fit and tapered leg right but still put the pockets at the lower butt/upper thigh position.

Hey, Alpha! I like your videos and they helped a lot in choosing a clothing style. I need an advice regarding carrying some stuff without having bulky pockets (smartphone, car key, lighter, cigarettes). Usually I carry then in my jacket, but when I only wear a t-shirt, I carry my stuff in my jeans' pockets and it doesn' look good.
Someone suggested I shoud get a satchel or man purse, but it would look dorky.

seems when i was growing up torn pants of any type jeans or slacks or overalls -- 1)when torn was indentifying those people as very poor and considered hand - me - downs ...now- a- days its torn at knees, hips, sides, front pockets exposed very strange... 2) people who wear pants below the waist, exposes undies both men women terrible styling ...thanks for your vidieos amazing how you make mens stlying very satisfying to understand ... remember you on shark tank.....awesome videos Aaron --thanx4sharin' !!

My problem is I’m tall but my torso is longer and my legs are a bit shorter so when I get slim jeans the look good, but the rise isn’t high enough like a regular straight leg. This makes where my shirt ends is a bit uncomfortable. If I reach up even a little, my stomach is exposed. Sure, I can get a regular straight leg and have them tailored, but that sucks to not get a perfect fit right out of the stores.
Check the ladies... Girlfriend jeans and A-line jeans are great to create a longer looking leg and cover more belly/back. Stella-A Line from Lee looks awesome on dudes.

Finding jeans has been a struggle for me. I ain't going to fit in anything that says slim. And I usually can't find my size in the stores. Either I'm too big. Or there ain't enough selection because of my rural community. Alpha it's been a huge struggle finding jeans. And not just jeans, but jeans that won't break the bank. I currently only have 2 pairs of jeans because of the situation I find myself in.
