Christ saved me and delivered me out of the fire of hell that I was Destind for, he hit me with a train of unconditional love, he took away the wrath, punishment and sorrow of my sins, now I can rejoice in him for I have eternal life through Jesus, I have eternal relationship with God because of What Jesus took physically spiritually and emotionally not just on the cross but for 33 years. He got off his holy throne and he took my punishment, I'm no longer brought down by sin and attached to but I am saved by Jesus who is Lord and God's promise as the savior, I love you faimly ❤️
Yep because God is incapable of forgiving man kind unless he comes down as his own son in human form and gets executed for the crime of Heresy. Thus becoming (somehow) a sacrificial lamb only to be risen 3 days later (thus the point in the sacrifice was?) give a sermon and then taken unto the lord in heaven. It's a good story but without proof its still a story.

I heard this carol, which has always been my favorite, right before Christmas in 1984....the very first Christmas as a born believer.....and it just brought tears....and it still does....35 yrs later..... tears of joy!!!!

Story time: so when I was about 1 or 2 I had a dream and in my dream I heard this song. Fast forward about 11 years, I’ve been looking for the song. I only knew the melody but not the name or anything about it. I didn’t even know that it was a Christian song. I have just found it and I thank the lord for this song. I swear it was a sign or something ✝️.

It's the truth and glory of it, speaking to your soul. And God's Spirit, always seeking to win our hearts, working in and through those times of hearing truth and of a softening of our hearts, there too. It can end up being just an emotional experience, if one doesn't surrender their lives to Him. Put their trust in Him as Savior and Lord. A picture of this is King Saul in the Bible ( In 1st or 2nd Samuel). Music soothed him, and at times in a humble moment he admitted truths, but he never surrendered to God, and always ended up going his own way, which led him further and further away from God. Into eternity still lost and dead, from what we know. King David had surrendered himself to God in faith from a young age, and even though he walked in his flesh as we all do, plenty and sinned in infamous ways later on in life, his heart was still ultimately for God, his will ultimately surrendered, his will for dying to self and living for God ( God tells us or we mightn't be sure where his heart was at). So, plz read God's word and pray, checking into these things for yourself. Read John, Romans & Galatians, especially.

That Christmas in 2011 was probably the saddest Christmas in 10 years since 9/11 because of the May 22nd 2011 tornado incident where an EF5 tornado ripped through the entire city of Joplin Missouri but also including the EF4 tornado that ripped through the entire city of Tuscaloosa Alabama killing dozens upon dozens of people in a matter of minutes, RIP to all the victims in the April 27th and May 22nd 2011 tornado incidents

When I was in 5th grade I sung this song in our Christmas choir concert and I felt so good after like I did my good deed for the night
