Just avoid having an emergency need to use bathroom, and what happens in middle of food prep in the kitchen there is a need to use the toilet.

OK that KITCHEN is mind-bending, holy smokes!!! I'm with George, I could watch that all day! And that boat house - i never realized how huge they are inside, I thought they were all cramped and tiny, but it's amazingly roomy...not to mention completely portable!
Absolutely beautiful and well thought out design features! The kitchen morphing into the bathroom, absolute genius, but my personal favorite was the last one, just my opinion!

That bathroom is genius. I wonder about drying and mold. Does he have to leave the bathroom open or squeegee it or is there a suction fan somewhere to ensure that the moisture doesn't get trapped? Fantastic! Thank you!

That bathroom is a cool idea and looks amazing etc. But not if you gotta pee at 3am
When going to bed, just let the toilet open, as you’ll not use a kitchen at 3am kkkk
I’d be more concerned about the times when you’re washing your veg for dinner and the running water makes you suddenly need to pee, so you either need to hang on and move everything out of the sink or you go to the toilet right next to your food. That’s a bit icky.

The exterior at 8:16 isn't 'shabby chic'. That building is one of the best, most original outbuilding exteriors ever featured on your show. It has a lovely cottage feel that shows up all the prefab ones sold on the British market.

That bathroom must have been inspired by a James Bondian supervillan's lair, unfolding an evil scheme control room. But no push-the-button-to-blow-up-the-world, it's just the bathroom.
They took an ancient space and made it modern. I find it distressing. Why do British people always want everything modern? I love old. Maybe because in this country no buildings are really old. Not like in Europe. I would love to have an old building but I would want it to look its age.

@@melisagustafsson3414 boat will lose value as well. Newer boats built, cost to maintain that etc. Not like a residential home in apartment or house on land.
