Thank you so much for your generosity and for sharing this with us. I would've never had the opportunity to attend such a wonderful workshop. You teach difficult things with playfulness and I found myself learning a lot about myself while laughing and smiling. Your compassion and passion for what you teach is infectious and it allowed me to meet my compassionate self for the first time here. I part with this video feeling that the world will be a better place if everyone tapped into this compassionate part of them, and I'm gonna start with myself. Thank you again and I hope many people come across this insightful video series!

Just listened to all the parts and at the end (compassionate tears flow) for your generosity and compassion - truly infectous. What a truly remarkable man and you have taught me so much today (I'll buy a book). I'm not even a therapist - but you have helped me grapple with my own internal critic. THANK YOU Compassion Bless You!

Thank you for the whole workshop. I'd be so grateful if you allow the English auto-generated captions option for this video and the part 3 video too.

Is the depressed self a combination of sadness and anxiety self or is it an entity of its own?

Out of curiosity is the purpose of the compassionate focused excercises/meditations too rewire your brain in yourself in the same way if you had a compassionate/caring person in your life during childhood? Then with time your brains subconcious would naturally be more compassionate to self automatically? Ive struggled with deppression for 15 years since the age of 13 years old, my parents were emotionally abusive..ive tried everything, ive even watched all 4 parts twice over and studied vigrously because i want to know the correct path/method to get myself better.. im constsntly studying every single day what i can do to help myself but really have no clear direcion on what it is i should be doing step by step to get better :(

@@icedcoffeeislife I am sorry to hear that! I would look for a therapist and try to regain a sense of self through a genuine connection to another. Sometimes just being in a compassionate relationship is healing in itself. Hope you will be ok :)
