@@allensaunders449 well i do care. Bugatti was at the top for so long. They built the chiron to smash the record once again and now after koenigsegg smashed their record, they remained silent. Atleast show us what the top speed is. I wouldn't complain if it was slower than the koenigsegg.

Eight pistons? That's a lot more than what you see in most supercars. Usually around 6 pistons overall. But this is mighty impressive!

In my opinion they know it can't beat the Agera RS. If it can, why did they cancel the top speed run which was going to be last year? They have the circuit to do it whenever they want. The Chiron is amazing, I'm not saying it isn't, but I'm sure it can't beat the Agera's top speed.

Most of the comments are stupid..... Why not this, why not that......... Guys this video was just about the brake caliper and the strength of the material. It is a 3D printed part which is made out of titanium. This video showed that it is strong enough to stand this high temperatures and force..... 😂
There is no glue or adhesive used in 3d printing any material including titanium, each new layer is melted onto the previous and a very small bit of the top of the previous layer melts as well so that each layer is bonded to the previous and then the entire thing is cured in a high tempurature oven that brings the structure close to the materials melting point in order to ensure the bonding of all the layers together. Metal 3d printing is the same concept as plastic 3d printing just different method, there plenty of videos on TH-cam about how its done

@@apex4462 Bugatti and Koeingsegg are very different cars. Bugatti makes ultra luxurious GT cars(which Koeingsegg is trying to compete with the Regera). Koeingsegg builds sports cars(one:1,Agera RS etc).
@@BasuSatwik Koenigsegg built light weight V8 hypercars which aren't that luxurious from inside , the body is complete carbon fibre built, where as Bugatti being more comfortable and equally oriented cabin for driver and passenger , with extensive aluminium work , W16 that itself wieghs more than 300kgs!! The extra wiegh is the reason why the Bugatti has a lower ptw ratio than Koenigsegg, while having almost the same power , otherwise volks transmission is the best on the planet, and they are very different cars , if different then why are you guys comparing them on performance basis. I love Bugatti and for the same reason i hate Koenigsegg (trying to do so)
Seeing the forces so vividly really makes you appreciate things like Le Mans where they’re breaking hard from around 200+mph for 5/6 times a lap for 24 hours!

Yes, a supercomputer generated this design based off of strict parameters established by an engineer. Then the program generated hundreds of design variations for the engineer to choose from. This design that they chose had the best properties of strength, weight, stress/temperature dispersion, and manufacturing ability.

Just printed these puppies for my 2000 Geo Metro. I successfully reached 70 miles an hour on the free way, hit the breaks to slow down, and the car went from 70 to 0mph in 1 second. Needless to say, I ended up in the hospital, and 4 months later recovering from surgery with a neck brace from severe whiplash.
So in summary. Confirmed, they work.

Why does under every Koenigsegg or Bugatti video break out a discussion which of these two car brands is better? Like this will make any difference or anyone is gonna change his mind when trying to buy one. This is not going to happen. Why can't we just appreciate all car manufacturers which achieve such great mechanical work?
Koenigsegg have been 3D printing since 2012 and the fact that they can even compete with Bugatti is impressive. Everyone always compares the two but they forget that Bugatti have more than triple the funds and R and D available. Koenigsegg are more impressive for what they are.

think it's established you can 3d print almost anything. To make it out of titanium, I mean you should know whether it works on paper from science. It's cool it can handle it fine but world's first 3d printed anything really doesn't mean much. 3d printing isn't exactly new but not everyone has one, so the world's first anything is going to be pretty common.
I've seen 3-D printed brake calipers for things like bicycles, RC planes and cars, and even motorcycles for like the past 5 years. How is this the first?
