Well, the instructor on this video was obviously not the same person whose picture advertises this TH-cam course. Not sure who he is, but SHE, the instructor, was GREAT! Learned a lot. Thanks!
YES! This is a great explanation! The voice and the information is very clear and concise ... I hadn't needed to review any of it. Love the speaker's voice ... super understandable!
Great video! I have 1 question -- I already subscribed to the online Onedrive / Microsoft 365. Do I still need to install the Onedrive app on my MacBook? What advantage would it have over the online version? Thank you🙂 -- from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Hi Beni. It depends on how you want to access it. You can use the online v version or the desktop version. Just not sure how well it will work on a mac.
Just like Kevin S. you do not explain how all these folders and or files miraculously appear in the new OneDrive Folder - It might seem obvious to experienced users but never the less - they are somehow just there in the cloud
I never like Kevin S. videos. I have found hard to make head or tail, conceptualize concepts or understand use cases sometimes in his videos. Just nonsensical Kevin Cookie illustrations!
I have problems with Microsoft updating. My laptop comes to a halt and the updates don't happen, so I often have to stop updates for a week. I also have problems with One Drive. I have paid for Microsoft 365 for years, but Word documents take an age to load or won't let me in. In my Microsoft 365 account it says: 'Not actively using on any device yet.' - so I asked Microsoft about this. REPLY FROM MICROSOFT: The message "Not actively using on any device yet", means that you have not installed or used Microsoft 365 on any of your devices. It will still show this message even if you can already see files in OneDrive, as it indicates the Microsoft 365 service. We hope that clears everything. No it does not clear everything! Am I paying for 365 but I don't actually have it? Any ideas? thanks - Lynne
Hi. Is there any chance you have more than one Microsoft account and are logged in with the one that does not have your 365 subscription? That has happened to me before.
Hello. I have OneDrive installed on a laptop, but I think it was installed incorrectly. All the files on my desktop have "onedrive" in the path. Does this matter? Can I move OneDrive so it's properly installed? There is a "desktop" within OneDrive and I think that's the issue. I'm wondering if this is partially responsible for my laptop running slow when using Premiere Pro. Thanks for any help.
I'm not sure what I did but somehow I shrunk the folders with photos they are small now I can't figure out how to get them back to normal size please help
I am unble to delete files in onedrive system is showing an error message this site exceed its max stoarage delete some files and empty recycle bin. While deleting again same msg display Any solution???
Hi. Thanks for watching. Yes, One Drive only starts with 5 GB for the free version. So if you go over that, you will have to delete files or upgrade to a paid package.

but as you remove pics and videos from your harddrive/phone to free up space , those deleted pics then become deleted in one drive too.
Yes that is correct if you have the folders synched..
Just like Kevin S. you do not explain how all these folders and or files miraculously appear in the new OneDrive Folder - It might seem obvious to experienced users but never the less - they are somehow just there in the cloud
If OneDrive sees the folder, it will appear as a folder in OneDrive. Think of OneDrive as a duplicate of the drive you are synching.

Well, we hope you find the rest of our videos helpful.
Regarding the mobile app, my iPhone 13 requires I install the MS Office app to be able to edit records.
Yes, I have that on my phone as well.

Thanks for the question! You could always try uninstalling and reinstalling it. Just make sure you make a back up of all your files first.
your dropdown examples on files do not represent my options on win10. what version on win are you using?
Windows 10 Home.
I'm not sure what I did but somehow I shrunk the folders with photos they are small now I can't figure out how to get them back to normal size please help
Maybe try the View option on the Menu Bar and select Large Icons.

Not going to lie sounds like a backdoor for your pc to get fk ed
Are you referring to the desktop sync? Dropbox has the same functionality. We'd recommend good virus protection software if that is your concern.
OH MY GOD. All I want to do is synch a specific folder on my computer to a folder in OneDrive.
Have you tried using the OneDrive app in Windows? There are different options for different synching choices.
