5:30 Mega Man The Wily Wars AND Mega Man on Sega Game Gear were both released on Sega hardware. 3 if you consider Mega Man X3 on Saturn.
I think the most reasonable way to play Mega Man X3 legally today is probably to buy the Legacy Collection on your system of choice.
Oh and you'd also be showing support to the devs (or at least the company who holds the rights) and the series itself making it at least slightly more likely for the series to continue.
Oh also you get several games for one price.

believe it or not but there actually are weapons in this game. You have to hold start and tap C to cycle through them. But most of them are the same, only really varying in size of the projectile. also the weapon energy does NOT refill stage to stage lol

The Megaman X3 PAL ESP is roughly achieving 9000€ worth, obiously in case it's in mint status. It's very rare, and ususally only the cartidge is traded at around 250€. Greetings from Barcelona!

I recall MMX3 came out when the PS1 was exploding on the scene and the SNES was passing away. So a lot of gems got overlooked in its final years. I remember renting MMX3 and enjoying it but would rather play FF7 and sm64

Chun-Li vs. Super Mario, battle of the fire ballers 🔥
All we need is a Mega Man X with the cartoon art style of Street Fighter and I think everyone would be happy. They could make it a metroidvania where the robot masters are all accessible on the map and the stages are areas to the boss's layer with expansions mapped throughout. Then they could have Wiley's castle only accessible once all the masters are beaten and it shows on the map.
Metroidvania is more of a Mega Man ZX thing, though.
Many would not like the X serie going that way.

Quick point about why folks might want the PSOne/Saturn versions of Mega Man X3:
Aren't those the versions with the animated intros? I remember being pleasantly surprised by those in the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the Nintendo Gamecub3 (and presumably the other versions of that collection). Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like that version was used for the Mega Man X Legacy Collection.
The NA SNES version is superior to the PS and Saturn versions in music. Which is why it's value is so high. Capcom took in the complaint from the last X collection and changed it to that one.

How hard for a programmer to port the SNES coding to the Sega Genesis/Megadrive? That includes Mega Man X3 for Sega Saturn which can be converted to Megadrive except the game is very slow and unplayable.
Wasn't X3 also a victim of a chip shortage, resulting in it not being made in as abundant a supply in many markets? Seriously asking, as I could easily be mistaken.

An overview of this review:
-Megaman X 3 is really expensive
-The Megaman X franchise is largely ignored by Capcom now
-Bootlegs exist
-Megaman X 3 probably wasn't very profitable
-Japan continued to like 2D games longer than the west
-Then she starts talking about the game, almost exactly at the 5 minute mark
Considering the video is nearly 11 minutes long, 5 minutes of that is meaningless blabber, and 30 seconds of it is just the outro, it's safe to say that this video is essentially 5 minutes long and was stretched out to meet the minimum amount of time needed to include ads.
And yes, that first 5 minutes is meaningless blabber and NOT context that's needed to set the stage to describe this particular bootleg (do we really need to know that Megaman X 3 probably wasn't very profitable if you've got nothing to add about why the bootleg was made despite it?). There's certainly no excuse for only 50% of the video to be about the actual game.
Come on Lady Decade, you can do better than this. Your videos were a lot better a mere six months ago. What happened?
Firstly, this is not a review nor is it labelled as such. Secondly, your argument for the video being stretched out to place ads is redundant since the requirement is only 8 minutes, therefore your derived conclusion is null and void on that basis. Considering how poorly Megaman X-3 sold in the West, it certainly is not a game many people know that much about. The basis of any constructive discussion follows a specific formula, starting with an outline of the question I am proposing and previous relevant information that is pertinent to the video. This is followed by evidence and opinion-based information proposing to answer said initial question along with a conclusion to said information that rounds off the video. The video is targeted at a broad range of people who have both a broad knowledge of retro gaming to a very limited one - therefore the information that may seem trivial to you may hold important information to someone who has a limited knowledge of these games. With something as mainstream as Mario, I can get away with providing less context - but with a title that was considered niche even on release, there is no way I would have chosen to do that today.

Yeah that was in Europe no Mega Man X3 was released in Japan in 1994 and it was released on the Super Nintendo in 1995 it says so on the American version of Mega Man X3 title screen when you start up the game it'll say 1995 in the US version of the game and I've seen a recent video there is an American version of Mega Man X3 on Sega Genesis the title screen says Mega Man X3 on a TH-cam video of the full gameplay it does not say Rahman X3 on Sega Genesis because there are people out there that made a TH-cam video that shows Mega Man X3 on Sega Genesis where the title screen says Mega Man X3 on Sega Genesis not rock band those are illegal versions eventually Capcom did make an official legal version of Mega Man X3 free Sega Genesis in in 1993 and then later with the new chip technology they reported it over to the Super Nintendo in 1995 I know Mega Man X was released in 1995 on the Super Nintendo because I had it for the Super Nintendo and it said 1995 when the game started up when it mentioned the year it was released because on the title screen when you start up the game Mega Man X 1993 Mega Man X2 1994 Mega Man X3 1995 Megaman 1987 Mega Man 2 1988 Mega Man 3 1991 Mega Man 4 1992 Mega Man 5 1993 Mega Man 6 1994 Mega Man 7 1995 because Mega Man 7 was released at the beginning of the summer 1995 and Mega Man 7 1995 beginning of the summer at the end of the summer in the fall Mega Man X3 1995 because Mega Man 7 and X3 were released the same year Mega Man 7 was released at the beginning of the summer and Megaman X3 was released at the end of the summer because most stores that carried it when I lived back in Troy the city Michigan every store that ever sold Mega Man 7 and Megaman X3 all store managers stated the same answer Mega Man 7 released at the beginning of the summer and Megaman X3 at the end of the summer of the same year 1995 for Super Nintendo entertainment center system and unlike other Gamers when it came to Breath of Fire and Breath of Fire 2 when it came to Rarity and also when it came to Mega Man X3 Rarity to me it was just a typical game purchase because I did not experience the Rarity situation I found those games with no problem like any other game release on after I own the games I started to learn about the Rarity because I saw how often they were in the stores because when it came to Breath of Fire 2 it only showed up during Christmas time every year only and while Capcom was able to release that game and Mega Man X3 they can only release them close to Halloween and Christmas time only because of the Rarity of the technology used to make them but I didn't know about that until after a few years of owning them to me they were just a typical game purchase because I could find Breath of Fire 2 and Mega Man X3 without a problem I got a hold of those too like any other game I never experienced the Rarity situation like other people they were easy for me to find as any other game and I bought both Breath of Fire 2 and Breath of Fire and Mega Man X and Mega Man X2 and Mega Man X3 when they first came out without running into any issues of being able to find them I found them like there were nothing cuz I happen to be at the stores at the right time when they were in stock and available for some games I never knew about their Rarity until the ones that were rare I own them for about almost 5 years before I found out about the Rarity

I bet there's a illegal version of ratchet & clank, all of that said, I'm guessing, it's easier to make a bootleg version of a already existing game, then to put in hard work and make a game. I understand that people want cash and need it, but I say try to do better with their lives, then to make fake versions of other video games, but, do what you have to do to make some cash..

Hey you forgot there was one system in America that lasted for several years from 1977 all the way up to 1991 Atari 2600 continue to Rock the Video Game World it was the only American system that actually lasted for that many years and the only reason why so many games in 2DS and other dimensions like 3 d games last for so many years in Japan is because a lot of 2D gaming is very popular in Japan a lot of games and systems would have lasted in the 2D world for a lot longer if fans weren't so hooked on the next thing when it came to America because America is too hooked on trying to try the newest things instead of enjoying what they already have that's why the 2D world was so short-lived that's why a lot of consoles in America are so short-lived because most Gamers have a short attention span in the Video Game World they want to move on to the next thing the next thing in life that's the problem with America they want to move too fast into fast forward to the next thing in the future because most Americans won't take their time and enjoy what they have they're too much of in a hurry to try the next thing the next video game the next movie the next TV show the next anime America's too much in a rush to try the next thing that's why sometimes I hate to be an American my people are too much for Rush to try the next thing unlike other Gamers I actually like Japan I still appreciate the 2D world even today in 2023 I still enjoy the idea of playing the 2D world over any other dimension because the 2D world had a better gameplay and better music after everything went 3D it just didn't feel like a video game anymore the gameplay just wasn't as good in the music didn't sound as nice I totally agree with Japan the 2D world of video games as much better cuz just like Japan I'm a fan of the 2D world and I'll be that way until the day I die 2D world forever into the music forever cuz it sounds much cooler 2D music in 2D game plays as much more fun these 3D in modern day games and their music just ain't got the same Soul as that good old time 2D world like that song Good Old Time Rock and Roll where today's music ain't got the same soul when it comes to everything from some N64 and Beyond ain't got the same Soul as that good old time 2D world gameplay or music but it is true the Super Nintendo did produce better Street Fighter audio for some of the games that were on Sega Genesis and some of the same games that were on Super Nintendo the audio on gameplay and visuals were better in the Super Nintendo for the same games that were on Sega Genesis even Sonic the Hedgehog 1 + 2 + 3 of Sonic would have been better off on Super Nintendo the graphics and the gameplay would have been a lot nicer even Megaman the wildly Wars would have been better off on the Super Nintendo where they remade all six me games from the NES versions would have looked and played better in the Super Nintendo and Mega Man 7 when the felt like an oddball on the Super Nintendo because it would have its younger brothers on the same system in super quality which would have been really cool if they did that

Let me make this perfectly clear Nintendo does not use polygon graphics that's Microsoft and Sony that use polygon graphics and computers use polygon graphics Nintendo 64 in every Nintendo system from 2D to 3D use silicon graphics you can even ask Doug Bowser himself and he will tell you know Nintendo system uses polygons Graphics it uses silicon even Doug Bowser himself will tell you that did the Nintendo Corporation does not use polygon Graphics it uses silicon graphics for 2D games and 3D games Nintendo is the only video game company that uses silicon Graphics in 2D and 3D if you don't believe me ask Doug Bowser himself the president of Nintendo
I was a big fan of the early Mega Man X games, so I just had to check this bootleg out several years ago when I discovered it. Unfortunately, it's your typical bootleg. Definitely not unexpected, but it's still a shame. Unfinished and unpolished. I think you give it too much credit.

it does not play good, its very corky, full of mobility issues, most enemies do not move correctly and have not all the moves, the AI is terrible, and more important... it's incomplete and you cannot finish the game
