many arts in history have died before, it is because it becomes too elitist right? when it is not made for the public as you are freely taking it upon yourself to make free to the masses which otherwise have no extra funds to see a classical concert for 70 + USD every week. many things in society are constantly killing off arts and culture there is a lot of death all around you YOUNG MAN :D good on you, keep giving the people free music. even if it is in the sew lines :D
Lets not be so dramatic? It is nearly dead in the US... but not in Europe. The Philadelpia Orchestra has filed for bankrupcy, Few CDs are available anywhere. Classical radio converted to talk show format. You can see why he is doing this. No, it won't die, but if those who care don't help preserve it, the children of the US will only know about the crap that the music corpacracy is spewing out.
I feel it will never die. Classical music gives me something that pop music does only for a short time.
