2-NOT hundreds of thousands of years, the entire 40k universe is not even a hundred thousand years old.
3-the perspective is that of Valerian, a custodes.
4-he does not describe him as a beast or whatever in this or any other excerpt. and this excerpt as far as i can remember listening to the audiobook, does not contain valeya's perspective. i might be wrong on that though.

Superfight time who wins asterion moloc or tyberos the red wake? Both of them are fully kitted out with their current War gear and neither one of them are fighting for any special cause so no buffs from the emperor! It's just one big ole dick swinging contest
That question keeps coming out, however the fact that morloc was literally designed by the Authors to beat all other marines eluding to the fact he may even be a custodian or the 1st primaris before they were even founded or something else entirely, and the fact that custodians themselves doubt they could beat him says it all really.
I think that's the way that they designed him to be.
