Why do you want to go back to Jamaica? Jamaica forces me to slow down and be present. In all her beauty and glory she soothes the soul❤. Can’t wait to go back home.
🇯🇲 i knew a fellow Jamaican who marry a black American. He took her to Jamaica, when she saw what was going on she asked her family in Florida to ship her stuff down. She wasn’t coming back to America. The man was nearing retirement, she told him to go back and finish up in Florida, and she will wait in Jamaica. That woman was a school teacher. 😊
She had a perspective where she saw the things Jamaica could offer her that she was not getting in America such as freedom, peace of mind, healthy way of life and many more. 🤩😎💎
I was born in Jamaica, and still living in England London, and have already half purchased a home in Jamaica, after living here for 54 years . My mother have been back to Jamaica for over 40 years and living in the parish where she and I was born, which is Linstead. My youngest brother was born in England, and he is building a house in Clarendon, and he is more jamaican than you would believe, because he loves everything about Jamaica and ever since he first visited many years ago, and have fitted into many parts of the society of Jamaica, and can tell you about towns and parishes, as if he was born there . His wife was born in Clarendon, hence returning to that parish . And yes people are going back to jamaica regardless of what people say about how Jamaica functions . Nuh weh nuh betta dan yaaaaard fi real !!
This brings tears to my eyes. I am from Clarendon also. Mocho, = my Mother's family. May Pen, Oliver Gardens (1960s) and Salt River= my father's side of the family.
@azariahisrael3898 many people find Jamaica to be the chill spot they need as their place of escape. Hopefully your moving plans will come together soon...
There are lots that has been done and still being done to improve the medical services and facilities. Currently, there are also facilities that offer Medical Tourism in Jamaica.
Hiya, i just came across your channel 3 days ago and i think I've watched all your vlogs. They're very informative and interesting. If you don't mind can I have your email address please? @LifewiddiJamFams
I'm a Jamaican living in the USA but will NEVER put down Jamaica. Mi mind deh pan mih yaad every day. It doesn't matter what anyone says, mi luv mih yaad.
I am Jamaican living in USA and I working at going back to Jamaica. We need a group to connect to who have the same intentions as us. We will be more impowered if we could come together.
Thanks for sharing. My perspective on Jamaica has change since I have migrated and have gotten older. Now I yearn for the things that I took for granted when I lived there.
The grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence until you realise it is only artificial or the other side is watering there's regularly. 🧐😎 Hopefully, you are still able to visit and enjoy and recreate some of those moments...
Why you ever leave in the first place. My ex-husband was from Jamaica St Catherine Parrish. His entire family moved to the states. I always wonder why would anyone leave their homeland. All our ancestors were stolen from Africa and yet some of us keep running to and fro instead of staying still until Yah returns to take us back to our homeland. I am glad to see people going to the place Yah planted them for a reason. It is in the land were he place us we will find his provision in these last days. Jamaica is a beauty country with Yah's richest blessing.
I leave Jamaica 🇯🇲1980 spend over 40 years in London, I make a life there but never a day pass when I don't think of home. I return when I could I take my daughter and few family, went back find my husband we worked hard buy a piece of land and build our home. We both retired packed up and return back to Jamaica. And I can say thank God because right now we are living out best life. My daughter now lives in the US and Canada so we visit when we can. There's no place like home, I know lots of people who said they will never go back home, more space for me, I wake up everyday and thank God for his blessings. Well come to all who wants to return home, and God bless the ones who don't.
Thank you for sharing your story and we are delighted that it worked out for you in the way it has. It is definitely a privilege to be able to move back to Jamaica regardless of the reasons for leaving in the first place. 🙏🏾💯😎
I was born in 1980 as well. Hope you can get to your goal to live there. It’s not easy to save enough money to move anywhere for me at the moment. Everything is to expensive no matter where you go. I misread your already there, congratulations to getting to your goal. I wish I could retire but that won’t happen anytime soon.
Congratulations! Your hard work pays off, and it's even better when you have a partner, you have to have the drive, and the mindset to go after your dreams and achieve it, nowhere is better than yard, I love my born land Jamaica. I am presently in the US for 13 years , and not a day passed when I didn't think of JA. I will be returning soon, I only have God to thank for making it possible, God came through for me and gave me somewhere I can call home, when God gives us opportunities, we need to make use of it.
Thanks for sharing. I just bought 4 acres, planting my trees, getting permits.. Bringing my kids in July to get their passports. I think it is important for them to know where their genertion is from. Giving them options is important and let them know that we are a people. If at anytime they want to go home, they can. Even though they were not born in Jamaica, they know that Jamaica is their home. I do not care if it is on fire.. always going to my yaadd. even if a hurrincane, earthquake.. a mi yaad mi a go.. can't tell me nothing..
I am so glad to hear that Jamaicans are flocking back home to Jamaica, their land…; because I just cannot stomach that those foreigners are taking over the island. Black Jamaicans are the owners of the island. Grab your country back, my brothers and sisters - “get up/stand up for your rights” (Bob Marley). One love, 🇭🇹❤️
@@eileenwatt8283I'm trying to understand your comment. I'm Black American and I totally agree with this person. Jamaicans should take back their island. Yes it's their island Black Jamaicans. Now what's the problem?
@@wellnesselements5853What you are trying to do is stoke racism and bringing colors into conversation in Jamaica just like in your country. Out of many one people is the motto here so don't try that race card here. Understood?
@eileenwatt8283 jamaican ancestor fought and died to live free from colonizers on that land, IT IS THERE'S. No Foreigner gave that kind of sacrifice. So stop the bs
Thanks to Nigerian Philip Emeagwali, known as the 'father of the internet' for us being able to share so much information and giving people a platform to make an impact in the world... 😊✨🎉
Jamaica is moving up the scale, this is my beautiful country, I go there three times each year, I will go back to live soon, I am not afraid to go back.
Exactly, every last one of us need to be actively promoting the country positively, doing our part for the environment, the reputation and adding to its growth and development...
I have been living in Jamaica for five years, I am British (UK) born of Jamaican parents. Loveing every day that the Lord has made, I am now a proud Manchestarian 😂
Thank you for this video. I recently acquired my Jamaican citizenship and planning to move to Jamaica as soon as I sell my home. I was born and raised in the US.
@LifewiddiJamFams I love it especially the country it self I'm not saying everything is smooth sailing it's alot off adjustments especially when conducting business some issues with customer service at times things are very expensive to me especially food items guess like anywhere else and it also depends on what you're buying over all I love ja health care is an issue for many also crime but thank God so for no issues with either for me beautiful island and some beautiful ppl not all but like everywhere else we've good and bad
Good for Jamaicans moving back to Jamaica. I am from St. Vincent, went to the top in US but always planned to return as I told my non-Caribbean wife before we tied the knot. You will always have negativity to challenge your spirit, but once you are clear in your mind about why you want to return, you will be OK. Accept the challenges, roll with the punches and that makes life easier.
Am happy reading this and as a Nigerian I have been in Jamaica since November29 2019, whatever is going on in Jamaica is not as bad as people make it look, its even worse in other countries. Jamaica is a beautiful country with slot of opportunity if you're the type thats serious about establishing a stable life. I wasn't planning to come leave in Jamaica but marriage brought me and it's been a wonderful experience with the locals. Am from Saint Mary by the way.
I moved back but am not on social media I feel like am living again my life is more simple grow my own food get water from the spring in hills of St.mary loving life better health thank God I did
Leaving the US is an absolute must, going back home 🇯🇲 The reasons you mentioned towards the end are the same why im returning. I've only been away 8 years, and it's not what it cracks up to be. It's more a nightmarish situation to me. Ive been putting the plans in place so when i return i am able to keep things going. It's finances that is an impediment to a quicker move. Thanks for sharing this video.
I was born in England but my parents and all my family is Jamaican born. I love Jamaica so much, when I’m there I feel so good and I love the country life compared to London city lifestyle. My husband is Jamaican born and we really want to move back to Jamaica with our kids. But so much people we know only have negative things to say about Jamaica but were not going to let that stop us.
I have been living in the US for 56 years and, on my way home. I love Jamaica, It is not perfect just as the US is not perfect, but it has so much good. I have been going back 3-4 times per year since 2017 and I am not deterred.
Every country worldwide is cracking down on immigrants, blaming us for all their problems. So far, we are the only ones welcoming every Tomm Dick and Harry to our country, and it's sad. As an expatriate living in Europe who has worked with companies in Jamaica that bring in expatriates, the difference is stark. When Jamaican companies import workers, they are compensated with higher salaries than locals in the same positions, and they are provided homes in upper-class neighborhoods. Meanwhile, overseas, we often receive less than the average salary and are left to find our own housing. Despite this, people like me choose to work abroad because it makes more financial sense. If I had stayed in Jamaica, I wouldn't be able to afford to buy a house. I haven't abandoned my country; instead, I'm working overseas to build a better future back home, so I can retire comfortably.
Some great points; unable to comment on the circumstances surrounding migrants coming into Jamaica for work. Economic migration is an age old phenomenon and its unlikely to stop in the near future. Therefore, one people are aware of what they are doing, why and they are comfortable with the life they are living then wherever they choose to life is their decision. Jamaicans returning are doing so for a range of different reasons.
I have many many family members who are young and have jobs, homes, cars, and investments in Jamaica today. Many of us come abroad and work two and three jobs to make ends meet and will do jobs that we would NEVER do in Jamaica. It is no bed of roses living abroad as people make it out to be.
Agreed. US, Canadian, UK, European working in the Caribbean live a charmed life as EXPATS, but in their country they calling everyone else every name in the book for coming to their countries for work. Why don't they go back and build up the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Apparently they need all the help they can get
❤ Jamaica. I'm an American and have been there several times. I took my children with me when they were older. Great place for a free spirit. Beautiful island, people and culture. I hope to visit again
Since beginning of 2023 I began to feel this urge like a literal push to go back home to live. The Lord has made the way for me and today with The Lord’s help my 3 bedroom house is up to decking in just about 2 months. I can tell everyone trying to build that u gotta stay on top of things so you don’t get scammed/robbed. I dropped out of every group I was in so I could focus on my project to ensure things were in line. My last trip in March this yr was a blessing because I was able to secure the land. It took much prayer for the Lord’s guidance to get me this far.
Thank you for including me in your video. Jamaica is Home and no matter where in the world I visit, no where can give me what Jamaica does. I cannot speak more highly of Jamaica, regardless of the challenges we still have. Nuh weh nuh betta dah yaad!!
I traveled to the US every summer and at the end of July I became so home sick and want to leave. My mother is a US citizen and I asked her not to file for me because i cannot live there. I cannot manage the winter and I love gardening, I have my organic garden at the back of my house all throughout the year. When vegetables are at an all time high in the market, I am able to share organic vegetables with my neighbour. When I go to the US, there is nothing much to do. Somethings are a bit cheaper there than here and the money is better but that's it. I believe if we work hard we can achieve anything we want in Jamaica. Jamaica is far from being perfect and it has a lot of issues just like any other country but the life here is better. We do have better foods and better air quality because it is not an industrialized country. I love my country and i really enjoy the hotels here and most importantly Murry's Jerk chicken. Jamaica 🇯🇲 has many problems but i would not give it up for anything, boy life hard and very sweet at the same time in JA.
Thank you all for showing me that i was never wrong about our beautiful homeland..I now have this beautiful feeling about going back home....i get emotional going in and leaving ..once i lsee her belowcthe clouds this feeling of joy and peace enters my soul........
My advice: keep your circle TIGHT, don't be part of any "mix up", don't discuss politics/religion J..is very tribal and are quick to label you, don't talk your business, use your very best judgement.
My siblings and I left Jamaica when I was 12 years old. The day of the goodbyes was heart-wrenching. Every year since then we have yearned to return however things happened. Schooling, college, and a family delayed our return. Additionally, the high crime rate and murders deterred us from laying the foundational plans to return. We all still have that dream but don't even know where to begin to obtain property or a house. I am not sure who to trust. Many property sellers are interested in making BIG financial gains on the returnees.
There are some reliable realtors (estate agents) here in Jamaica. We used one in acquiring ours and that was a smooth process from that end... There are also several private developments and NHT developments as well as other private sellers. There are several property websites as well. We can direct you to the realtor we used; we also mentioned them in an earlier video.
Reach out to a reputable real estate company (you have to trust sometime), or your dream will be lost. Don't forget to put God first in all your planning , and see the results.
There are genuine people that you can trust. Law is now on the internet a lawyer need not rob you if you yourself study the basic law on the internet for free. Knowledge now is open.
I left Jamaica at age 13 in 1977 for the United States, my husband and I have been going back and forth for the past 7 years. We have built our house there. We don't worry too much about the crime because that is every where, we are not blind to it we are concerned but we don't let it consume us. Please go and try it out. The fresh food fresh air
You couldn't have said it much better than that, some person are running from the stress and the hustle and bustling of a foreign country. I think some persons don't have anything to come back to, also some are too embarrassed knowing they have nothing to show for all those years living abroad and some don't know they're own country because they might grow up in one of those valitile community and just don't know they're better places in Jamaica.
Thank you for sharing the video; it's heartening to see Jamaicans returning home. As someone from the Cayman Islands, it puzzles me why those who live here would not want to return to such a beautiful place. In my conversations with Jamaicans here, many claim they have nothing to return to, which I find hard to believe for various reasons. There's much I could say, but that would diverge from the topic to Jamaicans in the Cayman Islands. Nevertheless, I think one reason Jamaicans are returning home is financial stability. Many Jamaicans cite economic challenges as their reason for leaving. It's essential to acknowledge that there's no place like home. No matter how long one resides abroad, it's always important to have a place to return to. I believe that if all the talented Jamaicans living abroad were to return, Jamaica would flourish and it people would not have to leave. I would engage them to become involved in the governance of the country and strive for positive change, enabling more Jamaicans to enjoy the land of their birth. Jamaica 🏝❤
You are welcome and your comment is well appreciated. Jamaicans are entrepreneurial and are setting up business. The more they acknowledge that no-one is coming to solve their problems and it is up to them to solve them, the more they rise to the occasion. Scaling business and collaborating as cooperatives is hopefully something that will begin to emerge more...
I hope so too. We need more working class people and those waiting to retire to pass on industry knowledge that they obtained overseas. So many universities and govt offices can benefit from the global perspective. I am not waiting to retire to move or start enjoying my life. Ready to contribute to the economy and build a future.
You definitely need to get a piece. As Jamaica continues to develop real estate is only going to get more expensive. Look at Singapore, Cayman Islands to name a few.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see a race war, civil war, immigrant war popping off in the US at some point in the near future. I would advise every Jamaican in the US to get their passports ready.
I am a born Jamaica living in America. And no matter where in this world I live Jamaica will always be home, my first choice when i travel. NUH WEY NUH BETTA DAN YAAD. Mi nuh Kah wah nun body sey.
Love it! Yes left the island for "greener pastures" opportunities, education upward movement etc.. The majority have achieved it via social media in a very short space of time! So they now have that economical base... the power of the dollar/pound that they sought . Now they still have that power so why not go back to your roots and travel as needed. Indulge in the paradise syndrome.. that is Jamaica. As long as the dollars work to maintain that life that they so desired. I applaud them swapping out the cold for the azure seas and wonderful weather(most of the time)lol and the warm climate to live free. It was always about money! It still is. Bless... looking forward to more from your channel.
Yes in most cases it is about money...but for me it was quality of life and still is. Being a working middle class in JA with children was quite the challenges, taxes, crime and corruption. I am happy and safe where I am but it os true Jamaica IS paradise but am happy with going back only for vacay right now. Wish I could learn how to thrive off social media too but I love mi privacy ❤
@hillarynewman8220 People have certainly found varying ways to afford their much needed return to Jamaica. Many are in government and private corporation jobs or working as consultants with government departments, different NGO and Not for profit organisations.
@stacyjd2759 Agreed! Money answers all things and just as it is not cheap to live in North America or Europe, it is not cheap to live in Jamaica. Quality of life is paramount and some find it in Jamaica and some find it elsewhere. What's important is that we have the means to find it and people respect that we have worked hard to achieve it. All the best for you and your children... 🙏🏾✨
yes a lot of Jamaicans are on their way back and that a good thing for JA..my advise to those who have returned is to VOTE and humbly get involve in the local CIVIL Societies and schools...establish or connect to Repat-network Societies if there is none...JA 1st
@donovantaylor3137 It's always great to see how one can impact their sphere with their skills, ideas and expert exposure through lots of different avenues.
Oh jamaica My vibe just going through immigration at the airport those staff are one of a kind so helpful so pleasant those welcoming spirit we don't give them their dues coming home starts right their for me never get tired of visiting jamaica when I could travel other countries
I loved Jamaica. We moved back to live permanently but had to flee after more than a decade when gunmen tried to break into our home. Jamaica is truly beautiful: the landscape, the food, the vibrancy, but the violence and crime overshadows everything. Alas!!
Went over to Hillshire Heights, and I was blown away. The houses on the beach; mansions. The mansions tucked away in the hills, with the beach down the road. Ingleside, Mandeville, Manchester, bought my land.
Excellent step! They have some awesome lots overlooking Williamsfield and Kirkvine area with breathtaking views of the Mile Gully mountain range. 👊🏾👍🏾🎶✨🤩
I am in the process of obtaining my Citizenship for Jamaica. I was born in UK and I love both places. Jamaica is the land I love especially the natural side of it. Living in the country would be my ideal dream but at the moment I don't have money to purchase a home in JA. God is Real so I m asking him to show me the way. I agree with those who have left. Live aboard can mentally drain you. That energy you get from eating the natural food and being in good company is worth your mental well- being. Peace and Love to all❤
You already are a citizen if your parents are from Jamaica. You're just getting a certificate that shows physical proof of belonging to Jamaica & let's you be able to get a passport
@Lando-kx6so without the citizenship by decent documentation you are the citizen of the country whose passport you hold and will be treated that way when you land in the country. 💯
Please make more content like this, I love this video, and I’m sitting reading every comment and also based on the views it shows there is sooooooo much people out there in the diaspora that would love to move back to Jamaica , I think some people are just afraid not just because of crime but because sometimes when u tell other people u want to move back to Jamaica they only have negative things to say and say that England/America is better because of “opportunities/benefits or welfare system and gov assistance and free healthcare” I don’t care anymore what people want to tell me England has to offer, in my opinion Jamaica also has a lot to offer that is better for our health such as the organic food and being able to raise your own chickens 🐓 and grow your own fruits and veggies and even use herbs as medicine and for healing plus the vitamin d from the sun, the sun keeping us warm instead catching the flu/cold every minute from the cold weather in England, being close to nature and not being stressed out and being able to live a slow paced life.
Everyone should return to their own vine n fig tree. Just be careful n don't go bragging about their material prosperity on their friends n family who are struggling to survive. Just love God n their neighbours.
The same level of common sense used in the countries returning from is expected in Jamaica... People aren't returning because they are wealthy; they are returning because they way a different experience for them and their family.
Not only Jamaican are coming, foreigners visit and fall in love with the lifestyle and move there. The most negative people are born Jamaican, just because they have little change in their pocket they think they are all that and of chip. I cannot give up on my country, 48 years in the US, and I think it time to go home. ❤JA
Welcome back returning Jamaicans! Please bring back the best that is good for Jamaica and leave the worst of foreign behind. Remember that once you live somewhere for years, you are really more programmed and oriented to serve the country you lived in than the country you came from. Cultural detox and a change of perspectives may be necessary. Please do not encourage wasteful, polluting consumerism because of a stronger dollar and attachment to an island and nature unfriendly lifestyle. There is a day coming when we cannot afford to pay the price for that mistake. We are living in a time when the worst is already too much. Please don't look down on, but look up to a better future TOGETHER WITH other Jamaicans, especially those who have been 'holding the fort' and battling certain destructive forces on the island. These are serious times and we are heading into whirled wuar3. So come back conscious, ready to survive, thrive and build. Jamaica is more than a pretty escape and refuge when times and fortunes change. It is also an important part of the last stand for humanity. So please, come back conscious and ready. And Jamaicans at home, seize the opportunity to transform and evolve. All hands on deck needed. Rough waters ahead.
The only reason why I rarely visit is - my relatives, I am only Ms. Clause to them or an ATM. They will just take and take until they deplete you and don't want to care. You want to tell me that people in thier 40s, 50s and 70s only know how to take? They don't know how to text and say Happy Birthday. My world!
@Happey67 Really sorry to hear that such has been your experience. Maybe some clear boundaries is a starting point in changing your Jamaica experience... 🙏🏾😎
@thepassportlife Pray about your decision if you believe in prayer. This video may also help you with your decision making... th-cam.com/video/Ao4Od7ytzvY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eFLBxU87yfHKAfP6
My grandparents moved back in the 70s and never looked back. So being raised in Canada is all I know but it never felt like home. I didn't get to visit Jamaica until I was an adult and stayed in St Ann for a destination wedding. I've been back twice more since then and the feeling that comes over me can't be described. It feels so familiar yet I've never been. I get very emotional in a good way. Leaving feels like heartbreak. I would love to relocate and work part-time while I start my own business. I know it will be more challenging but it actually excites me how much more potential I have if I relocate. The thought of being able to afford my first home excites me too. The weather, fresh food, and less chaotic energy are also motivating me to take the leap!
@rosegold.sunset4749 It seems like you have given some great consideration to this prospect. It would definitely be amazing if you were able to work it out as you envisage. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Let's know if you have any questions and keep us posted with the progress. 🎉🌟😎

I came to Jamaica to live in the 90's for good although born in England to Jamaican parents, got my passport and everything. Unfortunately circumstances meant I had to go back to England, I'm still trying to find my way back. I am Jamaican British that's my nationality. I love Jamaica ❤❤
Hopefully you can start working at it so that as soon as you get the chance you can. In the meanwhile we will try to show you some of what's happening in Jamaica. Stay blessed!🙏🏾
Wow watching as an American born the Jamaican parents. I love your channel and will share it to everyone to subscribe to it. I love topics like this. I one need half acre land and I'm gone😂. I love the life there and cry upon leaving when I visit. I'm all about nature I even eat organic foods only but it's expensive here.
Aww! Thanks for becoming a Tribe member and inviting others into the Tribe. Hopefully you'll be in a position to increase your time in Jamaica as you plan out what seems like a return in the making... 🙏🏾🎆😎
Am very happy to see when our Jamaicans return and bring back our children. 1) Jamaican is experiencing low birth rate and the youth population ratio is under threat. Bringing the children back will help the future of Jamaica and not someone elses country. 2) Culture and Customs can pass on better to them when they are here.
Im coming home soon ,my parents retired home ,sadly they are no more, so I've been renovated the house ,almost finished, then i will be home, and my children and grandchildren will be following as soon as they can
I am a 63 year young lady with Rheumatoid arthritis,I was born in Peter's field westmoreland.but I do not know Jamaica as a children I and my 2 brothers were moved to the UK I was 3-4. but as a child I never felt at home here in UK,but because my parents turned their backs on Jamaica I never got to know anything of my country until I found myself suicidal because of what is put open me of how I should be which as a shy quiet child and adult I felt was to imposing, which contributed to me becoming ill .and distruting in Authority.so I ran away from UK to Jamaica for 4yrs in 2009 with my 9yr daughter but abuse happened by a man I thought I knew over 4yrs to my then 11yr child 12 I had to come back because of that. I don't feel Jamaica law system is reassuring enough when things happen.but I want to go home but don't know where home is.
I'm sorry you have experienced such abuse... I'm sure you have family members still living here so why not liason with them and find out where best to reside in Jamaica.2009 are a long way from today much changes has been made.
@@zwizechoicewisdomOne advice , don't rush into relationships with harbor shark men and women when you go to Jamaica or any country , take your time to know the people before jumping into relationships or you will be in for a rude awakening.

Aww! Totally, it's a necessary part of the balance that is needed...

Well said. Currently living this now
🇯🇲 i knew a fellow Jamaican who marry a black American.
She was a smart lady

There are lots that has been done and still being done to improve the medical services and facilities. Currently, there are also facilities that offer Medical Tourism in Jamaica.

Am glad i came across this channel i retired after 40 years in USA i return to Jamaica 3 years ago best thing i have done less stress.
Oh, that's really amazing that you are enjoying the Jamaica experience. ✨🤩💎 These perspectives aren't shared as much as it should...

Thanks for joining into the conversation. It's always good when Jamaicans take their place at the tables or great their own tables...
No group owns Jamaica. That's like saying white Americans are the owners of America. If you are black American do you like that statement?
@@eileenwatt8283I'm trying to understand your comment. I'm Black American and I totally agree with this person. Jamaicans should take back their island. Yes it's their island Black Jamaicans. Now what's the problem?
@@wellnesselements5853What you are trying to do is stoke racism and bringing colors into conversation in Jamaica just like in your country. Out of many one people is the motto here so don't try that race card here. Understood?

Good for Jamaicans moving back to Jamaica. I am from St. Vincent, went to the top in US but always planned to return as I told my non-Caribbean wife before we tied the knot. You will always have negativity to challenge your spirit, but once you are clear in your mind about why you want to return, you will be OK. Accept the challenges, roll with the punches and that makes life easier.
That's a brilliant perspective. 🎶💎🙏🏾

I wasn't planning to come leave in Jamaica but marriage brought me and it's been a wonderful experience with the locals. Am from Saint Mary by the way.

I was born in England but my parents and all my family is Jamaican born. I love Jamaica so much, when I’m there I feel so good and I love the country life compared to London city lifestyle. I have been living in the US for 56 years and, on my way home. I love Jamaica, It is not perfect just as the US is not perfect, but it has so much good. I have been going back 3-4 times per year since 2017 and I am not deterred.
Awesome! All the best with your repatriation plans. 🙏🏾👊🏾✨
It is no bed of roses living abroad as people make it out to be.
that’s good and very smart make you money and go back home and live comfortable
Agreed. US, Canadian, UK, European working in the Caribbean live a charmed life as EXPATS, but in their country they calling everyone else every name in the book for coming to their countries for work. Why don't they go back and build up the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Apparently they need all the help they can get
Mi say so too yes we keep letting in some of the most dangerous people in our country fi real sad sad story.

That's awesome to hear! You wrote your vision and worked and faith it out. All the best with the journey. Keep us posted! 🎉🌟😎

Thank you for including me in your video. Jamaica is Home and no matter where in the world I visit, no where can give me what Jamaica does. I cannot speak more highly of Jamaica, regardless of the challenges we still have. Nuh weh nuh betta dah yaad!!
Oh absolutely! Jamaica is just beyond compare; however, I say that with a significant amount of bias! 😂🤩😎
Certainly and it's great hearing your Jamaica experience. We should definitely try Murray's one of these days! 😋
I don't want my filing come through either. I'm not leaving Jamaica. I will visit US and England but not live

Welcome back! It's wonderful to hear that you are having a great Jamaica Experience! 🎶✨💎
And killing of black people in the US is ok with you? Being less than human
So true 🙌🏾
So so true
@deanhamilton9280 thanks for your thoughtful contribution. 🤩
I’m a Jamaican living in Switzerland, bought my house in Jamaica goes back every year. Will be going back home for good soon.

I hope so too. We need more working class people and those waiting to retire to pass on industry knowledge that they obtained overseas.

Living in the country would be my ideal dream but at the moment I don't have money to purchase a home in JA. God is Real so I m asking him to show me the way.
I agree with those who have left. Live aboard can mentally drain you. That energy you get from eating the natural food and being in good company is worth your mental well- being.

May the process go well for you! Jamaica is a wonder to behold, the mountains, the rain forest, the beaches, the rivers, fruits, food...
The UK hates blacks especially Jamaicans , other Carribbeans are leaving the UK as the system in the UK is very miserable and injustified .

@Lando-kx6so without the citizenship by decent documentation you are the citizen of the country whose passport you hold and will be treated that way when you land in the country. 💯
Please make more content like this, I love this video, and I’m sitting reading every comment and also based on the views it shows there is sooooooo much people out there in the diaspora that would love to move back to Jamaica , I think some people are just afraid not just because of crime but because sometimes when u tell other people u want to move back to Jamaica they only have negative things to say and say that England/America is better because of “opportunities/benefits or welfare system and gov assistance and free healthcare”
I don’t care anymore what people want to tell me England has to offer, in my opinion Jamaica also has a lot to offer that is better for our health such as the organic food and being able to raise your own chickens 🐓 and grow your own fruits and veggies and even use herbs as medicine and for healing plus the vitamin d from the sun, the sun keeping us warm instead catching the flu/cold every minute from the cold weather in England, being close to nature and not being stressed out and being able to live a slow paced life.
The points you mentioned are exactly some of the reasons people are returning. Hopefully everything works out with your plan to return.
❤JA
Jamaica has that X-Factor! Let's know how your plans to move back are going.
Yes, take me.I’m ready to go.
All hands on deck, thriving together; absolutely! 💯
Nice seeing this. I'm in the middle of moving back. One foot already move already.
😂🤣🤣 Well hopefully the next foot get the courage to start moving too!
My world!
Stay from those toxic people
@Happey67 Really sorry to hear that such has been your experience. Maybe some clear boundaries is a starting point in changing your Jamaica experience... 🙏🏾😎
@sharonthompson9961 surely we need to evaluate our circles frequently...
You can say NO
Control who you let into your circle wherever you may be
Me nah give up on Jamaica nah throw no stone behind me. Yaad mi soon come
Hopefully your plans take shape and you can do so within your time scale... ✊🏾🎆
Just retired, 40 years in usa. Trying to make up mymind if i should return to Jamaica.
Let the Spirit of the Lord lead you,the Bible says, acknowledge Him in all your ways, lean not on your own understanding and He will direct your path.
@thepassportlife Pray about your decision if you believe in prayer. This video may also help you with your decision making... th-cam.com/video/Ao4Od7ytzvY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eFLBxU87yfHKAfP6

@@Sharonbless876 Thank you, I receive the word

Thanks for chiming in! You can still find your way back... Create a plan and work it out! 🙏🏾🎶💎
I love your show. If I had my way, I would be back home now. Unfortunately, I cannot come alone as you may understand. From the USA 🇺🇸
Most certainly... 👍🏾🤩
Mi soon come...couple more years!
Alright den, keep working the plan; it could be sooner than you expected if you keep at it... 🙏🏾🎶🤩
Definately moving back in a few years by God's grace! So glad I found your channel!
You are welcome! Keep working the dream, it's very possible. 🙏🏾✨🎇

@@zwizechoicewisdompeople are not like they used to be, family or not. They have no love. Jamaica not family friendly!
@@zwizechoicewisdomOne advice , don't rush into relationships with harbor shark men and women when you go to Jamaica or any country , take your time to know the people before jumping into relationships or you will be in for a rude awakening.
@@victorwilliams4026you still have honest, caring people in ja despite everything that is happening here, thank God I know a lot of them.

I have been living in the US for 31 years and go home often. More and more i'm feeling the toll living in the US has taken on my body and spirit. I'm already planning my return in the next 2-3 years. Could you also list groups for ex-pats and returning Jamaicans here? Thank you!
You'll have some shortly... 😎
