@@LifewiddiJamFams It's funny you ask. I reached out to a realtor in Jamaica several years ago regarding container homes. at the time, she didn't have much info. Fast forward to 2023, there's a company in Kingston selling container homes. So, yea, I think in some shape or form, tiny homes will become more popular in Jamaica. They just have to be constructed to withstand tropical storms.

@ListedInTheSouth Totally! We had wooden structured houses in Jamaica, even up until the mid 1900s. There are even some still standing in places like Hanover and St. Mary. Mud / Dirt houses are also a re-emerging phenomenon. The concept of small homes with real sized Kitchens and bathrooms (like ADUs) with a combination of mud/dirt house could probably catch on when they see the finish as accessibility. 🤔🧐

Statistics shows that 28% percent of Jamaicans are Repats. There is also a large population of more than 30,000 Expats living in Jamaica, These are official statistics. Nevertheless, it is fair to say that it could be more because not every Repats apply for returning resident waivers and some Expats have attained residency and might not be included in the statistics. There are also Jamaicans in the local who will pay if it meets their needs. 💎🧐

Many people are willing to pay a certain price point to get the services they need, especially people who want to be productive with their time. Of course they need it to be economical and therefore it is up to the business curator to show people the value it is to them for the fees they are charging, without being exorbitant. 💎💯🤔

There are several attractions on the Peninsula... There is the lighthouse, Portland Point, Jackson Bay Gun Club, Rocky Point Plane Landing, Jackson Bay Beach, Barnswell Beach, Rocky Point Beach, and several fish and seafood restaurants. 💎💯🤩
