First time I saw this, the tang looked small..because I thought the handle went all the way around...saw it here ...noticed it was 2 separate scales on a full tang...just ordered it...Friday Baby !!!
i am a Tanto fan, and this Tanto is just awesome. especially at this price point. 14C28N is the best budget steel if you ask me. so tough, easy to fix.
@@LegionTacticoolCutlery it would seem so, although it definitely looks like a tactical knife to me 😂 edit: I found the original comment, apparently it was designed mostly for fishing and it had H1 steel.
@@LegionTacticoolCutlery yeah, it is tanta style , and in Japan the blade of Tanto style knife should shorter than 15cm, so this is why it has a that big choil to make it under 15cm or it will be called a weapon not a tool became illegal.
Beautiful Eafengrow knife at a great price. Gruggs, what are your thoughts on the deep choil at the base of the blade? I’d love to order one, but I’m concerned about blade strength in that area.
Reminds me of Cold Steel Outdoorsman and that is an underrated outdoors knife that has a budget lite version that are both pretty awesome too and you can beat on them. Well 3yrs ago you could idk what kinda crap they're spitting out now.

My first EF knife and still one of my faves. I learned from a comment in another video that this is a clone of the G. Sakai Wild Hunter.

it is fishing knife, original one is using H1 steel for having strongest anti-corrosion ability, designing for fishing in sea.

Good looking knife. Kinda a hunting..maybe even combat , not sure. You are right that thing is very sharp.
@Robertssurvivalsystems someone actually told me that it’s a fishing knife and the original model was made out of H1 steel for saltwater.
One of the few I haven’t grabbed yet.
