    We just bought this model today. We bought the 15x33 model last year and left it up over the winter. The entire side of the pool ripped so yeah...definitely best to take them down lol But we used that thing daily last year and it was amazing.

    Hi I have a question ... why does the water come out from the top of the filter while the kids are in the pool? Thanks

    • @PovertyPointCustoms
      @PovertyPointCustoms  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mines the same way, if they are making waves in the water the top of the filter is just sitting on the pump and water will come out of it like your having if the water (waves) are going thru the pumps water intake and hitting the filters cover.

    • @PovertyPointCustoms
      @PovertyPointCustoms  ปีที่แล้ว

      I was going to leave mine up but I wouldn't do to the material (not heavy enough to hold up to the winter weather) in my opinion, but I agree if you don't fold it properly you could be effecting the material where it is bonded together

      @@PovertyPointCustoms I think you are saying you don't need solar blanket and I am kinda experimenting with the cover now. We've had very poor weather here in Eastern Canada for all of May but I did manage to get my pool up to 75F. I think it's because I left the cover on but not sure. It's quite a learning experience here and I do have a solar blanket coming to do some testing.

    I've seen review of people having trouble with the pool tearing at the seams. I notice in the instructions that it says to allow the liner to sit in the sun for 2 hours before setting it up, and wonder if these people skipped this step. Did you do this?

    • @PovertyPointCustoms
      @PovertyPointCustoms  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely let it sit in the sun, it makes it a 100 times easier when you feed the brackets through the liner.

    I just got this exact pool I have a question regarding the pump. I’m supposed to turn it on every day ?

    • @PovertyPointCustoms
      @PovertyPointCustoms  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I keep mine on most of the time other then when I am cleaning it (so it's on from June to September almost full time with no issues so far). And it's small so it is cheap to run. Some people run it for a few hours a day but I think it's best to keep the water circulating. So make sure to keep the filter clean (I clean it ever day or so with the hose as it only take a min to do).

    I don’t know if you will reply but we are thinking about buying this pool and your videos have been the most helpful by far! Do you think it would be okay to leave the pump running during the day while we are using the pool and turn it off at night? We have a fenced in backyard and our dog stays back there. He’s crazy and I’m scared he might chew the pump cords if we have to keep it plugged in 24/7. I thought about building something around the pump so he won’t mess with that but I’m just worried about the cord. You did an awesome job with the landscaping around the pool and awesome videos! Thank you so much.

    • @PovertyPointCustoms
      @PovertyPointCustoms  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will love the pool I am very happy with mine. I leave the pump on 99% of the time. I'm fortunate that I only have cats so I don't have to worry about them getting around the cord as they are inside cats :) The only complaint I have with the pool is I wish it was a few inches deeper. This year I will be building a fence around mine, after my deck projects are done. We take our pool down for the winter, so hoping to get it setup towards the end of may. Cheers from Eastern Canada.

      I have had this pool for 2 years and the pump died this year. The rotor blades actually broke clean off and were deposited in the bottom of the pool. The pumps are not known for longevity, but those that really enjoy their pool typically upgrade the pump anyway.

      No issues at all, the frame and liner were fine when I took it down in the fall. I've seen even new hard sided pools unlevel by an inch or 2 and they leave them like that. I bought the 16 foot by 48" pool for this year, hoping to setup in the next few days

    • @PovertyPointCustoms
      @PovertyPointCustoms  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I run my between 8 and 12 hours a day. Just make sure you keep the filter cleaned every day (take it out and rinse with a garden hose) as well make sure to keep the pool chemicals at the proper levels, and it should stay crystal clear. You should be fine using a heavy duty extension cord but you should be plugged into it gfc outlet though.

    • @PovertyPointCustoms

      The first time I set it up it took a few hours, the second time maybe an hour with a helper. Once you know how to do it, it's very easy to do. Definitely can be setup fairly easy if it's your first time doing it

    • @PovertyPointCustoms
      @PovertyPointCustoms  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ours is a 42" deep pool but when the water is full it is only 36 and a half inches deep. The 42" is to the top of the pool, so yours should only have roughly 42 inches in it if the top of the pool is 48" high

    how do you clear it up when it gets cloudy ?

    • @PovertyPointCustoms
      @PovertyPointCustoms  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a 1 pack of Soc-it (chlorine) and make sure the pool filter is cleaned a few times a day when the pools really cloudy, by doing this I was able to keep mine clear. And once the water is clear you can clean the filter every other day, and add the pack of chlorine weekly (with this size pool)
