Hi, I'm Portuguese but I will make my question in English so everyone can understand. But first, I would like to congratulate you on this project. It's a pleasure to me see someone of my country doing such a great content. My Honda Civic VIII is suffering from this exact same problem and everyone wants to replace the module. Honda is asking me a bunch of money for a new one, so I'll do the job from myself since I've some experience on welding things on. But first, here's my questions: 1. I was searching for those relays in Digikey and Farnell and I found nothing with that reference. So I'll buy a 12VDC - 4pins standard ones. However, I'll need to know the contact current of the relays. Do you know it? 2. Do I really need to reset the steering wheel angle? I don't have an OBD computer to preform that. 3. How do you put the relays in place after you cut the pins? Just by welding the new ones or do I need any extra peace? Regards
Thanks for watching. Any 4 pin Relay will work but make sure you get the higher Amperage the better... the relays are mounted outside the box on the relay holder that you will need for a clean and easy to replace if needed in the future. If you remove the control module with your wheels straight and disconnected battery then you wont need to adjust the Zero angle...i will find my notes on where to solder the wires for each relay holder but its actually very easy to find with a continuity test using a multimeter...anyway i will get my notes on that and share those with you gladly.
@@PSICompanyPerformance thank you for the response. I'll ask in Portuguese in order to make sure that I don't miss anything:p Eu não compreendi bem a parte do relay holder. Cumprimentos
Hey, at first i would like to thank you for the video! I have an Accord 2.2 Diesel Type-S and had the code 32-09 and no more Power Steering. I watched your video and also changed the three relays. Unfortunately, still no Power Steering. Code 32-09 is gone and now i have the code 33-01, which means Lower FET Stuck ON. Do you have any idea why this happened? I did something wrong, thats for sure. Can i still save it or did i just fry my module?
Thanks for watching... You need to check the original relays, because if its stuck maybe there is one relay that is suposed to be normaly open and not closed or the other way around. Good luck
@@PSICompanyPerformance Thanks for responding, i mean it! I am by far no professional when it comes to electrics and i dont quite understand what you mean. There was just one way to solder them in, one way they fit in the socket. So how can I change what they do? The original relays were all the same, so I didnt give much attention to what they actually do. I just replaced them with similar ones. Maybe I had to use relays with changeover contact, not normally open ones?
Yes it did my friend. I have to make another video with it working because i didnt have the car with me, only the module but i sent it to the garage and they said its been working so far.. Thanks for watching

@@articus85 i mean if the original relays are normally open then you should make sure that the ones you replace are exactly the same.

@@PSICompanyPerformance obrigado pela resposta!
Não basta apenas trocar o módulo é então preciso ainda calibrar, correto?
@@nmot97 sim.
