Thank you for this garden tour. Mesmerizing. Enchanting. Aa gorgeous as the garden is, I think the ambient of low intensity light and generous humidity added nicely to the viewing experience - even the background trafic noise did its work in creating the sense of being there in a real garden and not just a fantasy of overly edited video perfection. I am checking this now because I am reading Sue Stuart-Smith's book "The Well Gardened Mind". Again, thank You.
Ahh, I've since looked up Mr. Stuart-Smith's work. I see that he's a true innovator in landscape architecture. How lucky to get to see his home garden.
What a magnificent place to live in a grand and beautiful place this TH-cam tours is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who can't get to see the gardens or is house bound hopefully the national garden scheme will keep this wonderful idea for future development and teaching new and old gardener's new tricks and ideas

He loves his violets and deep mauves/ purples. Very soothing compositions with the splashes of chartreuse and deep greens! Absolutely magical!

I loved this garden! I loved the way the rose garden hovers on the edge of chaos and yet every plant is still distinguishable. Such a light touch.
Tom is an internationally acclaimed gardener, every plant is placed thoughtfully and designed. He uses the word designed.
