Such beautiful color! Those are just beautiful! And with the light behind it and through it, it is truly amazing! I love the bowenite/antigorite! So beautiful!
I apologize in advance for saying this but I'm "green with envy"! Those slabs need to be made into some kind of light sculpture where they can really show off their color. Thanks for putting in all the hard work to slab and show these remarkable rocks. 😊
For all the large material I cut, I use the saws at the Crater Rock Museum. They also have lapidary wheels and all kinds of other tools. For the cobbles and small boulders, I use a 10" tile saw w/ a diamond blade that I bought on FB marketplace for like $120. Thanks for watching!
A great chop day mate love checking them out with the light , enjoyed the watch mate

This stuff looks very similar to most of the serpentine I brought back from Vermont. Very cool man. Thanks for sharing.
Does this variety of serpentine contain small fragments of Magnetite?
You bet man, good to hear from ya
chromite mostly, but some time magnesium or magnesiochromite
I get the feeling I may be walking on that in southwest Washington and just havnt realized it. This is helpful and well done…Thanks

Awesome video! I have a question, have you found anything up Big Butte Creek? Is it worth hunting up there?

If you don’t mind my asking, what kind of saw do you use?
