Oh, and looks like your head unit is one of the Android units... either the Secaine or the desaita! Do you have a video review of that? Everyone seems to have problems, but that's got to be the future. It's just so flexible as far as user interface and options go!

Hi @adventuredex, did you hook that to the K1 you had on your JK? I have never installed an amp and I am struggling, I have the K1 with the wiring harness for amplifier, do you have pictures? I paused the video but could not tell how you made the connections. Thanks.

Thanks for the video. Question...were there airbag wires you needed to disconnect when lifting the passenger seat up? Did you bolt your amp down? And how much are yo loving the sound? Could you live without the sub? Thanks
Thanks for your comment. The seat has a wiring harness underneath, its easy to disconnect. No the amp doesn't need bolting down. The sound is great!! I am not a HUGE music guy so yes I could live without it but if you like music, this kit is a very good way to upgrade the audio quality. Thanks for watching!
I strongly suggest suggest doing big 3 upgrade...alt lead to +battery terminal, -battery to chasis & chasis to engine block. I gained a 3/4 volt. Sonicelectronix carries NVX Big 3 kits.

AdventureDex NP, very beneficial. Your alternator will thank you for it. NVX is Sonic's house brand & BD series is their entry level line. Good amp, does rated RMS but power thirsty. Big 3 will allow current to flow more proficiently & help w/ amperage draw.

Nice video. Why did you go through the drivers side from the battery to the amp under the passenger seat. Won't it be easier to go through the passenger side?

How did you hook up the sub to the Seicane unit as I hooked it up and there was only one output so I had to use a y splitter and it powers on put I get no sound from it
Hii can it go on 2017 wrangler unlimited sports too I was trying too buy it but they say it won’t fit with 2017
I’ll be doing mine within the next two days! Question so you can hook the power wire into your wire harness if you have aftermarket or do you recommend still tapping into the power outlet with the key?

Just gotta let you know man that if you pulled the carpet up after taking the seat off you would have found a body ground setup already there for you

kevin fizz there is a pre existing hole on driver side and passenger side doesnt allow for much room to drill
Great Question! The passenger side has the battery in the way which makes things difficult. The drivers side is very easy to access!

FYI There is a plug in the firewall on the passenger side as well, no need to go over to the drivers' side
I have installed the same head unit as yours and my Sahara came with a sub, the question is, how do I hook up that sub to the head unit... I'm thinking of tracing the wire from the sub and see where it is and maybe somehow hook it up to the sub connection of the unit?

vu nguyen, it seems as AdventureDex guy doesn't have an answer for your question, I don't think he knows how to hook up the default sub to the head unit, witch really is what most of us watching want to know, it seems he just installed his own sub and hooked it up to the head unit witch really doesn't help the majority of people watching this video as it doesn't not give us an answer to the big question.

AdventureDex hey dex, everything is working good on my installation but my subwoofer isn’t working, i plugged it into the console and still didnt work, what iam trying to figure out, what are my options to give power to my amp and subwoofer
And please also explain the little wire connection to the cigarette power
How durable is it, can you do an update video on how it fairs from things bumping into it and dents and scraps in the paint

Bro quick question, i have the same headunit and i only have one input (RCA) for subwoofer. So how did you connect left and right subwoofer input as one ?

No, I didn't have any sub!
What about rust from the exposed sanded area you used to ground at ?
Great Question! Rust shouldn't be a an issue on the inside of the Jeep BUT with that said you can paint around the area so there is minimal bare metal exposed! Thanks for watching!
Well on my tj there is a stainless bolt that holds the rear seat belts on and i use that

small question why did you create a new ground if there is already 2 grounds in the same location - check 7:08 min in your video
This was the best ground solution for that size gauge wire.
No need for sanding, a bolt closer to center console serves as a perfect ground.

Would like to know if rear seats with tilt kit will work with subwoofer latched? Plus does the radio you have give you any problems yet?
No problems with the radio although it did cut out a few times... I don't have the tilt kit so I cannot say for certain! Thanks for watching!

I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport and the sound volume and station change buttons on the steering wheel has stopped working. Does anyone have any idea what has happened.

Should have mounted the amp under the rear seat. The amp should always be as close to the sub as possible so you don’t lose power.

Great video buddy we'll get you some tools man and stop wasting your time on that sand paper get you a impact drill go to O'Reilly's and they have them brushes with quick connect brushes for like $6 will make you a ground and seconds. ✊🏿✊🏿Great video simple 👍🏿

the amp wire should not hook up to the cigarette lighter it should be wire to the power antenna wire also know as REM wire which is a blue wire

AdventureDex That system is basically a Bazooka tube...hollowed out sounding bass. That thing needs to be bolted down as well or it will become a guided missel in a car crash.
