Just finished watching the video, honestly, I was not expecting much from the brightness of the side led's, I have to admit I am quite impressed. I will be saving this video for my side light install, Thanks AdventureDex.
+Denis Picciuolo thanks for the positive feedback Denis! They are very bright and great for being able to see to the left and right where the headlights can't reach!

On the mirror separating aspect: put the connecting bolt back into the bottom about four clockwise turns leaving about 3/8” of the bolt away from tight. Then hold mirror extention arm, and use hammer to drive bolt down towards mirror housing, three good blows will separate the extention from the mirror housing. Time: 7 seconds
Im not sure if anyone else has posted this. But it's easier to separate the base of the side mirror from the housing by leaving the mirror screwed in the housing so you have more support when you're hitting it
Libni Guerrero this saved my day. After 30 minutes of hammering with a screwdriver, I went to HD and purchased a 4” Hex Cap Screw, class 8.8, m8-1.25x100 then screwed it most of the way into the threads and hit it with a regular hammer several times. Using the longer screw was the only way I was able to separate the parts and it only took a min. Than you
I just bought these mirror lights right before Christmas and had no way of how to make these lights be a plug and play type for in the summer time when I want to take the doors off. AdventureDex glad you posted this video! This will help me a lot when I install mine! Great videos! Have watched most of your videos and I've learned something from all them.
Thanks a lot Eddie! I am so glad that this video helped! I enjoyed making it and am glad you enjoyed watching! Feel free to watch this video when doing your install. It is not extremely difficult if you take it step by step! Thanks for the support! #jeepwave
Thanks for that, this'll help a lot - getting some in in a few days that I'll have to wire up myself, looks like a really cool product. Any tips for getting it through the door panel hole if one doesn't have the power mirror harness to help fish it through?
I ended up purchasing the Xprite Clear Lens Red LED Brake Tail Lights Assembly with Rear Turn Signal Reverse Lights For Jeep Wrangler JK which looked and worked just like the Anzio lights for half the price. Great test though, gave me insite and direction.
Great video man. Just installed a pair of led mirrors. Not those but basically same thing. Only problem I’m having is the turn signals only work if the spot lights are on. Not sure what’s up.
I just saw these this month and was wondering if I could find a video of them, they look awesome. Did you wire both LEDs to the same toggle switch? Also, you had to cut the white/red wire for the indicators and splice the wire into it correct?
Thanks for the comment bro! I already had my pod switch prewired so I ran the two positives from the LED mirrors connected them together and connected it to the switch. For the indicators, if you have a true splice clip you don't have to cut the wire, you can clip directly onto it and it makes the connection very easy! Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Great Video. I have a more basic 2013 wrangler, roll up windows, manual mirrors, this shows me I can add these even though I have the manual mirrors. Thanks again.
What type of rosin solder did you use to wire? And as far as the quick disconnects, what size were they (12-10 AWG, 16-14 AWG, 22-18 AWG)? Thanks! Can't wait to do this to mine! :) Keep up the vids!
Thanks for the comment William, Unfortunately I don't know the answer to either questions. The quick disconnects that I would recommend are these (amzn.to/2nJUNQu) Thanks for watching!

6.5 hours to remove the mirror from the arm can be shortened to 10 seconds by using rather than a screw driver, a small deep well socket. One hit of the hammer and Houston we have separation!

My question is where to hook up the switch if I have no accessory panel of switches!? I don’t understand how to do this as there is no instruction on how to connect the switch and where to run the power for that switch. This is a bit of a challenge for someone like me. I can run the wires to the turn signals no problems and the ground, but the Main Power for the switch and led lights is a bit confusing as there are NO INSTRUCTIONS how to do it!! Don’t understand why all the praise for a clear missing portion of the install on the opposite side!
OMG!!! I have been "beating the ever lovin shit" out of this thing and I cant get it to separate.. The wiring does not scare me off this project but not being able to separate this mirror has me stumped! In the feed there is a post where he says rotate the mirror till it clicks. But is that after you loose it from the housing? I really like your videos but I really wanted a closer look at this base I'm beating the shit out of. Any clues?
David Johnson I found that the fastest way to separate the two parts was to use a longer mounting screw instead of a screwdriver. I purchased a 4” Hex Cap Screw, class 8.8, m8-1.25x100 then screwed it most of the way into the threads and hit it with a regular hammer several times. Make sure you are holding the mounting bracket and not the mirror bracket. Using the longer screw was the only way I was able to separate the parts and it only took a min. Also make sure you don’t screw the screw in all the way because you don’t want to damage all the threads in the housing.
I've also been looking at those headlights, are they DOT approved? Do they have a daytime or toggle-able light that isn't so bright, kinda like Halo's? I think I like that look better then the JW and halo style. I see a lot of people around town running those halos while parked, not sure that's a good idea haha.
Most LED's are for off-road use only. I wouldn't recommend running bright LED's on the road, it can be a hazard to on coming traffic. You can check out the range of LED headlights at www.adventuredexonline.com/shop thanks for watching!
Hey Dex, I'm doing the LED mirror install and ran into a snag. The T40 bolt on the bottom of the mirror is seized, so I can't get the housing apart. Have you ever come across this issue? Thanks!
Yes! Use a lot of penetrating spray and take your time! Try hammer a million times! Only other way is to buy a whole new housing! Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the advice. I figured it out by putting the mirror back on and breaking it. If anyone out there is doing this install you may want to do this, especially if you live in the cold and snow of the North.
Thanks for the comment! I am not exactly sure on the fitment but I am sure they make ones that are suitable for the 08. Power windows are not necessary. Thanks for watching!

Pretty cool but I hit my mirrors too much on the trail to fancy them up
Haha yah, they seem pretty tough tho!
Just installed… everything seems good except the indicators are just on the dont flash when I turn or emergency the just stay running and I made sure I hooked it up to the corresponding yellow wire on light harness
It's the red and white wire

Also make sure you don’t screw the screw in all the way because you don’t want to damage all the threads in the housing.
my jeep is a 2010 door panel is diffrent and my mirrors are not powered or heated any suggestions yo make it work
Its the same process just the bolts on the door are in slightly different places. Thanks for watching!
that should be a standard feature for all Jeeps.
Glad you got it sorted!
Yes indeed, got it sorted and they mirror lights look damned good. Thanks for the vid. Wish I could send you the done pic.
+JB Ruggged Jeep Thanks man! Send me a pic on Instagram!!
hey bro. I've been trying to tint my soft top from a long time now and I couldn't. Any tip?

Is there a way to install this on an 08? I have power locks/windows but no power mirrors.
Thanks for the comment! I am not exactly sure on the fitment but I am sure they make ones that are suitable for the 08. Power windows are not necessary. Thanks for watching!
07-17 are the same.
Same body but not the same interior so it makes the install slightly different! Thanks for watching
Yeah let's blast the neighbors with my bad ass lights. Lmao I subbed.
LOL Thanks for the support!
