Can I Get These Bruisers to Eat My Homemade Pack Bait?

I made some pack bait for carp and catfish, but will they eat it? Only one way to find out! The bait I made consists of flour, instant oatmeal, corn, and powdered sugar. I also made some bait holders with supplies lying around the house. Let's see if this stuff will catch fish...

I use old-fashioned oats, creamed corn, maybe a little diced fruit (peaches are nice). Enough moisture to let it pack well on the feeder. You might look into the standard-for-carp-fishing hair rig…. Increases hookups and safer for the fish.
