The best way I found to get close to doom drums in ez drummer when using bandmate is to set the tempo to half tempo. so instead of 90 BPM set it to 45 BPM.
I love ez drummer as a guitarist it makes it so easy for me to make drum tracks and write my own songs its so much fun being able to make sick drum tracks for rigfa and rock songs i come up with. Im not a huge doom guitarist but cool licks and thabks for tutorial
@@TheDistortionPrinciple Still are! Haven't listened to much after passage honestly but Ceremony of Opposites i would put up as the best black metal album of all time for me! Every now and again i get on a kick where all i want to jam is some Samael!
Awesome! Thanks so much for taking the time to learn how to do all these things in order to post this tutorial. I'm sure it probably took a long time, (just like you said,) and might have been frustrating. Really appreciate you taking the time to show us the method you use. I mostly use the acoustic drum kit on my phone in garageband, mix it down and drop it into the laptop. It's a little dirty, but it works. Dig the song! Killer vid! Cheers!
Saved this video to my "Helpful Videos" playlist, so I can reference later 👍 I don't have EZDrummer (cause expensive), but, from my experience with similar software, its very similar, and would work with that too
I took an old Roland TD-6V drum module and DIY converted my old (circa late 80's-early 90's?) Mapex Mars series acoustic kit into electric. Mainly to trigger EZD3. Although, the TD-6V actually sounds pretty good on it's own in a pinch. Using REMO Silent Stroke heads, Ddrum Redshot triggers, and Lemon branded E-cymbals. Still currently a work in progress, but way better than programming or using pre-made MIDI tracks IMO. If you ever need some MIDI DooM drum stems?! I'm definitely your huckleberry comrade. My prior legitimate industry resume precedes me... No Flex. No Cap. Great FN video my dude! Cheers!
EZ Drummer isn't easy to me. I tried other DAW's and drum programs. The easiest and simplest for me is Majic Pro DAW and Beta Monkey drum loops. It's not as customable, but it's simple to use and works for me.
I got ez drummer when it was newish based on your advice
Using superior dummer now its still ez af and sounds better

This awesome, brother. Which version of EZ are you using? I used it way back in the day. Sounds great. I might have to pick it up.

Imagine doom with Pete Sandoval style blasts here and there, where he blasts of the double bass but the snare beat is slow and constant
