Nels is the best dyno guy in Washington. I had my R6 tuned by him a while back after installing a full system and have been extremely impressed by his work. Great guy as well, super nice and tons of knowledge. One of those guys you could bullshit with for hours about bikes and racing.

There are advantages to the RCK3 tuning abilities vs. PC5. We tuned the fuel and advanced timing with RCK3 and then uses the pc5 for added fuel in some midrange spots where the RCK3 maxed out at +20% or soemthing. Can't remember the limits atm. The RCK3 is also much more important for adjusting DTC, ABS, Quickshifter, Engine braking, Launch Control, etc. If any questions or what similar setup email marcel@irnieracing.com

sachin mb You can't beat the Hindle quality at said price. The headers are under a 1000 cdn and titanium canister is 350$ cdn. Max power without breaking the bank.
Interesting that there wasn't a horsepower gain from pump to the spec fuel. I'd think there would be, with higher octane. Regarding the spec fuel, I'm assuming that is a 'specific fuel type' AMA required the racers to run?
So, they will tune it for you from beginning to end at a flat fee. I could try to call them to see if there is a discount fro Irnieracing followers right lol

Mizof hzel nope. there is no advantage from it for racing. Carbon frame is only new cool addition. but chances are it will have poor rider feel. same as when Ducati did a carbon front end
Comparing numbers is relevant Mr Jona. Every dyno will show different results, and even the same dyno will show different results on another day. Not to mention all the variables including dyno output settings, what tire is mounted on the bike (slick vs. street). What is important on a dyno is tuning, and comparing before and after the same hours.

Made 167 hp and 83 torque on my 2007 zx10r. Had it tuned at nels as well. They actually just moved there shop down the street from the old location.

Yes, AMA/ Moto America takes money from Sunoco and forces us (the competitors) to buy it/ run it.
