If I'm understanding correctly, you guys played around with unequipping/re-equipping your gear right before the pull + shielding to use critical healing to generate 2 LB bars right as the first wing sweep happened? The world of speedkilling is crazy lol.
its quite a common technique for speedrunning to actively generate LB. since SHB u get more LB by surviving otherwise lethal damage (via on-person mits and shields) & critical health recover, and thats the unequip-reequip (of course, after the mits and maths) is a way to ensure yr HP will be critically low and u get to milk all the LBs generation from it.
@@wolframmm3 This is a bit of an old comment, but that part about ShB is simply not true, it's the other way around. Since ShB you generate way LESS when surviving lethal damage, and critical healing is also nerfed, but yeah, rest of it makes total sense
speed kill groups such as this have every instance of damage down on a spreadsheet as well as the exact amount of damage from each instance, from there they will plan out their own mitigation plan and the absolute minimum amount of healing to survive the damage, turns out with a heavily detailed planning you can cut way down on the amount of healing to survive each mechanic lol
So wait LB generation is increased when you have lower health? It makes sense thematically but I never imagined keeping my allies topped off was actually making the LB gauge fill slower D:
Slightly more complicated than that, you gain some LB charge when you survive a lethal attack because of mitigation or shields, so your HP needs to be low enough for the game to see that the attack would have been lethal if you didn't have those.
For most parties they will not be organized or skilled enough to really leverage that extra lb boost consistently. It has to be coordinated ahead of time and done right.
@@jeremywright9511 this is a common strat for the beginning of UCOB, the 1st stack fireball generally gets taken with 5 people with enough shields to survive it outright, which then generate a big chunk and hopefully enough for LB3 tank for P3 transition.
Either I'm missing something on how the mech works, and the first safe spot is always the same depending on where the first clones spawn, or they used tools.
Some pulls are rng for uptime. You are seeing the best pull and not all the times they might have wiped to getting it wrong lol. There was such a case with P4S speeds last expansion. But it's possible tools are being used.
In my opinion , the aoe will not fill up the right rear safe spot, and this way can make caster or healer does more damage by less running distance between 1st and 2nd safe spot in 3/4 situation, and speed kill often need some lucks.
Are you talking about the weird camera angle? That's just a setting in the game. Go to Character Configuration, Control Settings, General, and change the 3rd Person Camera Angle. It's not a third party thing.
This cross tail is going into the historybooks. S for planning AND execution.
i have never heard an LB bar proc more in my life, what have i just watched...

This group also did the TOP no healers run I think. They are really good at calculating heals/mits to maximize everything else

Yeah it's degenerate and bug abusing, shouldn't even be allowed

thats one hell of a kill. amazingly done!
the crit physick after transition is so crazy
It’s calculated so perfectly that it looks like you have permanent holmgang on :D well done
I'm more impressed by how you play looking straight down and can't even see your character lol
Pure insanity. Amazing run!
She was wrong, you can outrun lightning
Super impressive healing
This is hella impressive
Is the location of Sacred Soil installed at 7:15 intended?
yes,i need 10% damage reduce,needn't heal.
Speeds are always fun to watch. Amazing work!
@@slienceriver4763 Thx mate :)

this is so amazing. how r u guys surviving all the damage at that low of hp? in pf like someone always dies if they aren't fully topped off

yes and it fills even more if you only survive cause there is a shield on you. you can reach crazy amounts of lb if its abused right

what's happening here xD
*Asians* 😎
How do you guys determine the safe spot to preposition early in Twilight Sabbath? 8:52

how can u play with a screen/layout like this...holy moly...
Next time, try to hide the fact that you were using third party mods/cheats.

Are you guys the speedkill team that got banned for cheating
Different team.
