Always bring rain jackets when coming to Ireland! Though we are having a heatwave at the moment!!

I always travel with a small spray bottle of Febreeze to freshen clothes between wearings. I recently discovered merino wool t-shirts. They keep you warm and cool and resist odors.

I remember how challenging it is when visiting Ireland - damp, windy etc... Same with England, Wales and Scotland. Enjoy! Erin Go Braugh!

Cotton swabs or qtips with a small mirror is a must for me.

Travel tip #1-take half the stuff and twice the money. #2-Put the camera down and enjoy the experience without trying to photograph everything.

I always pack a lunch with extra for hotel snacks. No more expensive terrible airport food or starving flights because of a short layover. I always pack the same thing. PBJ. Cheese. Crackers. Sliced apple. Nuts. Granola bars. Always sits well. Doesn’t smell or need a fridge and then you have something to eat when your body and the time zone don’t align and if you wake up very early in a strange hotel hungry

Stridex, shampoo and conditioner are my 2 basics. I have sensitive skin, so any hotel stuff hurts. And stridex cleans my face from it feeling like it's burning. But yeah, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush. Definitely, the wet wipes are a great idea!! Rolling full outfit is great.

Ha ha. I’m all set for boredom relief. I have a few phone games and if I want to make notes or journal I use the “notes” on my phone also. I might just have to bring reading glasses along tho.
I think the hardest part of traveling for me is the packing of makeup and toiletries. And then just trying to get the home in order and get out of here. (For me it’s making pet sitting arrangements and trying not to worry too much the whole trip about the fur babies and “sneaking out” as there is always more to do lol). I wonder if they have some books on “how to get out of town and stop trying to tend to things constantly.” How to let go of “what all needs doing at home.” It’s crazy tho. I’ll be whining about needing a get away break and then it’s like the hardest thing ever for me to actually get out of here and take a break from it. Also usually I’m just driving on my own somewhere so there is no specific time I have to catch a flight etc. I also love the toiletry bags with the hanging hook.
I guess generally tho I just don’t enjoy living out of a suitcase and having to rethink where all my stuff is. I take my personal coffee setup Bcuz I am picky about my coffee. I need for that to always be business as usual. The one thing I can always rely on. Lol. It’s good that my machine is very small and lightweight. A bad coffee experience can just make the day go all wrong. Lol. I’ve been there struggling to find what I need for coffee wake up time and I never want to have that struggle again. Lol. (Bcuz i make mine super strong and waking up and getting moving is really hard so k cups just don’t cut it. I’d have to drink about 4 at that rate. I need one big jump start jolt). I don’t really do coffee at any other time. Just when I need to first wake up and get alert.

Just a friendly tip, when you’re in Ireland don’t call it a fanny bag - it’s the opposite thing in the UK/Ireland. 😀
The No tumble dryer thing drives me crazy & so doe’s putting washing on the line or on clothes racks.
Some people say that tumble dryers are expensive to run but I don’t find mine that expensive.
    Have a lovely holiday.

They have public tumble dryers in petrol (gas) stations. Everything is much smaller so many people don’t have space for tumble dryers they are expensive to run in Ireland and the UK. Try and pack a small case only as large suitcases will be difficult to pack in cars and trains and coaches etc. Pack layers and don’t bother with washing clothes. Call it a ‘bum’ bag or a cross over bag. Remember not to tip more than 10%. 🍀
