Damn it, Sandro. Now I will feel so inadequate when I clean my Abarth 5oo.
Best tell your brother that he will regret his sale as soon as it leaves the driveway. Seen this all the time.
I was tempted to buy it myself 🙂
Sandro,
I’ve always thrown high-praise your way, but what I’ll try to offer this time is different. I don’t know if it’s my own age and the miles I’ve got on me, but watching this video just illuminated the power of experience. When you have a ton of it, it’s just obvious that you’re in the zone. And that’s a great thing to see.
Keep crushing it, and take care.
If only youth had the knowledge and wisdom had the youth 🙂
Appreciate it as always mate and hope all is well!
He does courses with Waxit if you’re in Melbourne or willing to travel
Sandro, you tackle your craft like a Japanese master bladesmith ...knowledge, precision and a whole lot of passion! 😊
I hate the word awesome, looks like Australia has got another gold medal as one of THE best Detailer son youtube ❗️👍🏻😊
To 98% of the public, that is indistinguishable from a brand new factory assembled vehicle. Absolutely jaw dropping pants-jizzing results. The almighty wizard of detailing strikes again!!!
I've yet to see a brand new car look that good.
WOoooooooooooooo look at that pretty little thing. Beautiful!
All I can say is - WOW!! amazing, wish I had a brother like you!
The Jedi Master Detailer is back!!!
👍👍👍
Yeaaaaaa the legend uploaded again. Too bad i have to sleep now :(
Man I love watching your videos!
You are a True Professional!!
What an awesome brother you are!
Haha sometimes 🙂
Awesome work Sandro, You're a kind brother!
One thing is i found it hard to concentrate with the background music playing while you were talking
and working all at the same time.
I find your voice and the work being done at the same time better, i don't mean any disrespect.
Thanks mate and I do appreciate the constructive criticism.
Whoever ended up with this Abarth must have been very happy.
Always a great day when Sandro uploads.
And this video to go with the sale of the car. There's another 2 grand. Amazing work 👍
🙂
🎯 as always Sandro 👍🏻
Just unreal skills
I’ve learned a lot over the years and just love the info you provide every video and just fell in love with paint correction more and more
My favorite detailer on youtube period. Been watching for yrs and will keep watching. Please post more even if they are product test like you did during covid
Wow that looks amazing great work 👏 👍
Good to see you again brother, hope that Business kept you offline for this time - Best Regards to you and hope all is travelling well for you
Yes! Glad you are back Sandro!
Thanks!
Wow, Thanks so much for the support, it’s hugely appreciated!!
Can you make a video on pricing, how to charge customers… just s business side of detailing…
Another great great video with amazing results!!!!

Fantastic job as always! Whoever bought that will be really pleased with it!!
As always I enjoy and learn from your experience
Great video Sandro you never let the side down It just goes to show you that Blood is thicker than compound I am sure your brother was overjoyed with the result it's great to see that everyone had great fun making the video It makes for great viewing I have to say in certain light the car does look like a ford focus will in the dark with the lights off keep them coming In sandro we trust
Thanks mate. Haha yes blood is certainly thicker than compound 🙂
Really great to hear you enjoyed this one Bob, thanks as always mate.
So excited a new video
Love the in depth video over your /normal/ ones lol
Amazing work as usual Sandro! It's good to see you back.
Been following and watch all your videos Sandro, keep up the great work and wish you all the best from BC, Canada!
An awesome job to an awesome little car. Cheers, Sandro. Have a great week, bud.
Such an amazing work !! The whole vibe and style of your channel is amazing :D :D
Dunno why I'm even telling you that's stunning work Sandro.
We all know you do nothing less than stunning anyway.
But still, I love your methodical attention to detail without making anything mystifying for novices watching.
Nice one mukka
Awesome video. Thank you for all the effort and time you put into this, outstanding job Sandro
Always outstanding work and I learn so much when watching your channel! One of the best in the game!
More excellent content Sandro. I've learnt a massive amount just from watching your videos recently. Thanks!
Made it new just like that. I love watching your skill! I enjoy when you point out the trouble spots or go over the differences of wax with the camera. Great job to your camera crew as well. This videos are very relaxing.
Outstanding work, my friend!
The little brother of mine same colour spec :) great work
Brother, this is a job well done for sure. You hit it on the head when you said, family is everything and you don't charge family. I just did a full paint correction/ceramic coating job on my inlaw's brand new Honda Pilot. They gave me their daughter therefore I could not and have not charged them for any work I have done on their vehicles. It is truly a blessing to be able to help them out.
Great job, seeing this video makes me miss my Abarth, I must get another one.
Best detailer ever!!!
Fantastic work! Great editing as well.
great video
Those little 500s can sound pretty cool with an exhaust. Growly little cars! Was a nice surprise to see you use all of shinemate's polishers and pads by the looks of it. The place I work at was looking for some good bang for buck polishers, so I recommended the two you were using in the video and they've been great so far. I really regret not getting the battery powered versions of their polishers when I went on my buying spree over a year ago for work at the shop. Ended up with a full suite of Rupes machines I can't really use at home except for the nano, because I can't get power out to the garage lol.
Wow, you are an artist, sir. Incredible job.
Hi there and greetings from Germany 🇩🇪… have you tried Koch Chemie motorplast? You can spray it over the whole engine bay after the cleaning process it adds protection to all parts and gives it a fantastic look … just spray it it an let it sit over night ✌🏽 … sad that your brother has to get rid of this beauty … oh and great work as always
Thanks and yes it was sad to see it go, but no I haven’t tried motorplast - sounds great a bit like Meguiar’s Hyper Dressing
Finally good to see you, caught a glimpse of you when masking the trim on the wing mirror 🫡 😊
Great and helpful video 👍
Well done video 100/100 🔥🔥
Beautiful!! I have the exact same car and I love my mine!I However she needs a little love like this. You did an amazing job! ❤
Always informative and satisfying to watch and learn from you! Your brother needs to learn how to care for his cars from you, no better teacher.
Hi Sandro great end result i'm sure you will achieve the hi end re-sale price, thanks for sharing the journey Cheers.
I'd really like to do the same to my 1997 Fiat, so watching this video has given me the kick I need to do it! Hopefully I can get the equipment and supplies to transform my little car 👍
Hi Sandro great to see you back I have had my car re coated and looks fantastic. The only problem is he didn't get all the fine scratches out and some scratches that I thought he should definitely get out with the paint correction process he didn't. Just a bit disappointed with that he says he couldn't get them all out but I"m sure he could have. I will finish watching this soon Sandro. Jeremy Downunder
How we going Sandro got to say another amazing video, I have been watching you for around 4 years and you have helped me massively with my detailing business over here in the uk and aspires to work to your standards one day, shame your not I’ve here I would love to do training with you keep up the great work and thanks for everything
I’m well and appreciate the the kind feedback mate, thanks and wishing you and your business great success.
Been away to long really miss your videos great to see you back great work as usual 👍👍👍👍
Excellent job Sandro! Your brother is a lucky guy. Hope he was able to get top dollar for the car.
Thanks so much for the support!!
Hi Sandro and Brother! I see you guys did a perfect job (despite you are such a shy guy Sandro saying opposite). And what is most important - you guys had a lot of fun!!! We have watched the video with whole family and have seen how Brother learned to film))) Made this very good to be honest. And you Sandro cut several scenes with your reflection in the glass, mirror, paint))) Really enjoyed as usual or even more. I wrote this before many times - you are saving our money by all your lessons and I prersonally have avoided many mistakes or knew how to fix thanks to your videos. Hm, will start to write this from now - Cheers from sunny but still cold Sweden and grown by Sandro's videos))) Cheers mate!
Thanks Sergey, hope you and the family we all well and enjoying a little more sun in Sweden! I appreciate the kind words my friend and really nice to hear you enjoyed this one.
I use to have one just like that one, now after this video i miss it haha
Grear job bro
hi Great video 😀. I have a NexPTG paint depth gauge and it measures 15 to 20 um wrong on my Ford S-max. didn't help calibrating it for me.
Have been in contact with NexPTG and they have confirmed that it measures incorrectly on the type of paint that is on the Ford S-max. but working on the matter to find a solution 🙂
Thank and I appreciate you sharing that info!
Phenomenally good video. Learnt tons. Thanks so much Sandro!
In my opinion and limited experience, microfiber pads, despite the heat they produce, even with cutting compound gets a good finish at the end but for my OCD finishing with a fine polish is the cherry on top :))). Nice car, great job 👍
P. S. I've never tried the wool cutting pad from Rupes but this will be my next experiment on a black Audi.
Haven’t used them too much, but the yellow wool from rupes are a perfect one step pad cuts pretty well and also finishes great
@@sk8ordie4691 I have seen so much videos with the Rupes yellow wool pad but I've never tried it. This is my next experience next to the blue one. Thank you for the recommendation 👍
Great video as always! Questions, what type of lights do you have in your shop? Been looking into upgrading my over head lights.
Thanks and I’ve got a few different lights - many of which are no longer sold - but I guess the ScanGrip multi/match are the newest ones I have in there and although pricy they are certainly fantastic lights.
Great work. My only worry is the cost of the detail is close to the additional market value he'd net...
Exceptional video as always Sandro! Just curious, have you gotten a hold of Nova's new Boost V2? Would love to see a review of it if you ever get the time!
Thanks and yes I have - really like it a lot and if time allows I agree it would be nice to review it.
Nice one, Sandro!
What would have been your process to remove the old wax and sealant if claying wasn't required?
Thanks and generally an APC is great for stripping off waxes and sealants - maybe something like Carpro Multi-X 1:2
Hi Sandro!! Great video, as always! A technical question: what is the max pressure you use (bar) for washing cars? Looking for a new, better pressure washer... Cheers!
Thanks and I don’t really focus on pressure stats, as they are largely misleading with pressure washers. Water flow or LPM is perhaps the best stat to focus on as a lot of pressure with poor LPM never seems to create a great pressure washer experience or result, but even then the claimed LPM stats can also be largely misleading. The best advise I can give is track record (not stats) and I would recommend by personal experience Kranzle, AR and BAR pressure washers if you’re after something that performs as well on paper as it does in use.
Nice, love abarth!! Nice work like always!! use to have a abarth 595 comp.. also polishing my car now a black vw polo gti.. im using menzerna.. but i get a lot of dusting from it.. any recommendations for good polish and compound?
A lot of good compounds will dust - dusting is a way of them breaking down to allow for certain great results and other user-friendly features. But if too much dusting is your real concern, Sonax compounds in general tend to be quite low in dusting.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thx.. i wil take a look at sonax polish and compound,, as im running out of my menzerna.. thanks for the answer greetings from Belgium!
Cleaning an engine bay like this always scared me because I feel like I will short out some electrical components or create rust spots.
Another great video Sandro!
Question for you. Could you have used an Uro Fiber pad or maybe a hybrid blue wool pad instead of a Microfiber?
Thanks and yes those pad alternatives could have also worked well, but it’s always doing a test section that will confirm that.
Yes of course I was just wondering. Thanks
Great job! Can you provide a link for that Solo 260 sprayer please! Also for those individual plastic sealing bags for covering up sensitive areas underneath the hood. Thanks!

Thank you!.
Sorry forgot to mention I live in the US
Love the video. Looks everytime so relaxing.
How do u remove odor? Like dog smell or pafume smell?
Also what kind of ceramic (graphine) coating customer grade would u recomend on a black car? Mohs? Carpro?
Ceramic coatings don’t do better on certain colours, they all bond and work the same way. That being said, GTechniq CSL would have to be the best consumer grade coating available. Go for that.
@@LockdownDetailing thank u. Will get that then.
Thanks and a good top to bottom scrub down/shampoo and extraction of all the capers and fabrics is where you should start with trying to eliminate doors - a product like Carpro SoPure can also help and giving it time in many cases is required to rid all the odour.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thanks man. I will try it out. Also the video u did years ago (carpro inside leather cleaning) introduced me to carpro. I trust in ur pro opinion
Hey Sandra can you tell what pads are those you used for this car also what's the reason you don't use your cordless tools specially for small 3" machine am i the only one hates cords😂
As always killer job you did brother
Thanks and the pads used are listed in the description box (under the Australian links of you scroll down and also displayed on screen)
I do use cordless polishers all the time and 100% hate cords 🙂
Can you please tell me where you get the blue trigger from thanks!! great job love the video!

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thank you!
Tell me about the advantages of snow foam. Only because personally I think it’s absolutely bollocks I never used or needed it to achieve next level detail
It’s there to start softening and loosening the surface grime so more of it can be removed during the pressure rinsing stage, like the way you’d soak your kitchen pots in soapy water before cleaning them. Every process shouldn’t be just about going through the motions, it’s should be about performing each process to a high level to get the most out of it. A decontamination pre-soak foam need to start with a good product capable of stripping, the foam then needs to sit for as long as possible (prior to entirely drying) and that needs to be followed up with a purposeful and methodical pressure rinse down. I’m just trying to explain it’s not always about what you do, it’s also about how you do it that may render quite a different result. Hope that helps.
I think I would have kept the car after the great job, and bought an old banger for the family car 😂
So it’s safe to use a cutting pad and compound on windows vs a finishing pad with polish? And that won’t install any hazing because the glass is comparatively much harder than the paint?
Yes that’s correct 🙂
Sandro I'm about to use nv lustre but don't know which polish to use that won't harm lustre effect. Carpro essence safe to use with nv lustre? ❤❤ keep up the good work mate
I think Essence should work fine before Lustre. Just make sure to allow the resins in Essence to fully cure before applying Lustre - at least 4hrs or over night if it’s colder weather. Alternatively you could use a standard fine polish like Nv Finesse, do an IPA wipe and apply Lustre straight after.

Hey Sandro I’m just wondering what spray heads are those?
Kwazar double action sprayers
How much, if at all, do you think the application of Hydro2 Lite sprayed onto the rims effects the adhesion of Darkside to the tires?
Yes it can certainly have an effect- I think if max durably is the goal you’re better off giving the tyre an even better scrub back and not introducing any sealant polymers prior to application.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thank you!!!
Hey Sandro, i detailed the wheels on my wife's range rover today that i bought her last week. I followed how you did it on this vehicle and i went through about 400ml of a 500ml bottle of NV Purge. They are 22" rims and i was trying to do inside the wheels too as the spoke are quite thin and you can see through them very easy. Am I using too much?
I would say for a maintenance wheel clean I’d use about 50ml per wheel but for deeper cleans on really dirty wheels I could use closer to 100ml per wheel so it can certainly vary.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thanks Sandro, i appreciate that.
A good brother would have used a ceramic coating! 😁
An even better brother would have just said thanks so much 🙂
Is there a certain spec you need for the tornador to be more effective?
I would recommend to go for at least the Z-020 Black model, it’s a significant performance upgrade over the original Z-010. The new Max model seems like it’s got a touch more power than the Black but more so is made a little more heavy duty with the additional of comfort and convenience design aspects. Hope that helps.
Sorry I forgot to include, how much psi do you need for the tornadors?
You don’t need loads of psi for the Tornador, as little 90-100psi should be fine. It would be idea though to have an air compressor that expels at least 200 LPM (litres of air per minute)
why polishing paint not available in my country
I have a question. I do paint correction on my cars, but I’m always very scared to go very close to the edge. But my detailing friend who has being doing it for years goes right on top of the edge and doesn’t burn through. What is the trick? 😅
It’s absolutely fine to correct over edges and body lines, the trick is not to be too aggressive with both your combination of compound and pad as well as your technique. You’ll also find that using smaller 3” 2” and 1” pads allows you to achieve fantastic correction around edges and body lines without the greater risk of using larger pads that are far more aggressive- the only compromise is that it takes longer and you obviously need to invest in those smaller machines and pads.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thank you so much for answering my question 🙏🏽
Glad you are back! Hope you and your family are doing great 🙏
Is it worth polishing and coating a car that has rust bubbles?
Generally no
i would never wash the engine bay love the polish though
Are the towels micro fiber
Yes
Why no ceramic?
What’s done on almost every job comes down to the budget - most pre-sale detail customers won’t add the higher cost of coating
How many hours take whole job 😮
About 20hrs total detailing
Thank You
