The Mexico City take off was very unique! One of a kind 👏🏼 👏🏼
Not really, SFO is a notorious airfield for simultaneous landings and take offs too.
there are no degrees of uniqueness.
@@LukeO9 When will people finally get that in their heads?
@@davidf6326 It's like being pregnant. you either are or you aren't.
@@LukeO9 it’s just that due to mexico’s runways separation simultaneous take offs are not allowed/safe, therefore it never happens
Dang, that dropped bogie must have terrified the cockpit crew. Praise to engineers for adding redundancy.
It is said it came to a halt just a few meters in front of the Cargolux maintenance hangar door.
Honestly tho would they even have had a way to know?
@@UnshavenStatue Tire pressure sensor would have detected it and given them a tire pressure EICAS warning.
@@henrychan720 yea but no way a tire pressure light makes them think it's totally gone lol
@@UnshavenStatue It's not knowing exactly the scariest part. And why they rolled the trucks, just in case.

OMVFG this is the first time that I see a parallel take off in the International Airport of Mexico City, I've never seen that before, even if I live in Mexico City and visits the airport many times... Oh my Goodness!!! That's awesome!!!
It actually was a touch and go landing. Unfortunately I started filming too late.
@@philipevers men! You did a great job!!! Thumbs up!!! Greetings from Mexico City 🇲🇽🛩️
I remember watching the first a380 when it toured the UK 🇬🇧 at Liverpool Airport, that did the same wave and it was mighty impressive then too !
Is it some kind of show or just pilots having fun?
@@mk_787 haven't lufthansa only just reinstated using their A380s, that might be the reason ?
@@flyingmyles thanks for providing the background info. That's good to hear.
@@mk_787 no probs!
Hats off to the photographers who showed us these clips!
Wow that wording "firmly thouches down" is merciful!
02:00 MEX airport doesn't have enough separation between its 2 runways to make simultaneous parallel takeoffs and landings, it is very likely that the Aeromexico airplane had a long flare and had to go around.
Possible, gear was down for a long while after lift off ???
Very nice video. Keep up the great work. ❤
Just enough to keep you interested and excited about flying even with all the dodgy landings and near misses bits falling off etc.. flying still is and always will be the most exciting experience and best way to travel.
The 787 landing is the best example to show that the smoothest landings aren't automatically the safest!☝
What are you talking about? That's a manouver called aerodynamic breaking. The pilots know exactly what they are doing.
@@CerberusTenshi generally of course but obviously not in this case. Mistakes happen!
AMAZING! Love it... Great channel as well! Just sub'd
The thumbnail is already giving me the shivers😮
When I See Lufthansa is flying their a380....im so happy and wish I could also Flyer with IT.
Parallel takeoffs are so awesome.
A380 ❤
Thank you so much for including my video, much love to you from LEJ ❤✈️
No Aerosucre since a few videos now - this is suspicious! 😂😁😇
That Dreamliner is still nose up
Glorious, just glorious
2:15 Looks like Popocatapetl in the distance from the airport. Hope everyone stays safe.
Great video - thanks for posting!
Sehr schön.
I saw an A380 take off at LAX and was amazed how quiet it was.
Amazing plane✈
As ever 3 minutes of WTF. 😳😲 Great job as always! 😁👍❤️
The A320 landing was fabulous technique. In strong crosswind and gusty conditions plant it on centreline on the mains (they’re designed for it). No prizes for trying for a big flare and smooth touchdown: that’s wing scrape/lateral runway excursion territory.
Could’ve straightened out the nose before touchdown. So I wouldn’t call it fabulous.
@@rtbrtb_dutchy4183 pilot did straighten it right after touchdown them got into a crab again. Kept it on the centreline though... fabulous landing
@@marspp did u watch the same clip as me? He totally lost the centerline at the end. His left main gear crossed the centerline.
Also, his mains skidded the whole way from the side loading. I was being nice before, but now I’ll say what I truly believe: it was a crappy landing.
That wing wave though! Wow!
SUPER 👌
Great video!😸
That United Jet Looks Like It's Bent Like a Banana!
How am I this early omg 23 SECONDS!!! I love your videos and i've been watching them forever. Thank you for these videos :))
Agreed
Looked like a down gust that threw the 320 down hard.
1:17 not sure that caption is fair. The video is from 2014, and US Airways was still operating on its own AOC for all of 2014, so that was a US Airways Airbus. (The merger closed in 2013, but the AOCs weren’t merged until 2015.)
Nice A380 guy
2:40 - it was former Ryanair pilot, who decided to try another airlines :) but customs make all things easy :D
Your videos are very good.
Can you add dates in the sections titles ?
I think in the second to last clip, that random 747 cargo plane on the ground was the true highlight 😅
Should have seen it perform at Farnborough.
Hmmmm imagine that was the same cargolux 747 that absolutely smashed the landing a few weeks ago.
The dual tale off of the two planes! Absolutely majestic seeing a planr take off ay the same time yours does. And the crosswind landing had my heart skip a few beats. I've been on flights where we encountered them. Nearly lost my lunch too when it occured. 😅
Looks (to me) like the United at Munich Airport was just using aerodynamic braking.
Quite common to reduce wear and tear on the tyres. It wasn’t close to a tail strike at all.
Correct
That United B787-10 landing was very ordinary in my opinion. The pitch-up was minimal and the tail still had lots of clearance from the ground
The pilots performed aerodynamic breaking, so they knew exactly, what they were doing. So, indeed, there was still enough clearance.
the united at 1:45 was good tho (apart from the near tailstrike)
yeah^^ that must have been the hardest landing I've ever seen slammed in. xD
Cargolux the new Aerosucre
That's a weird coincidence. I was viewing clips of the Cargolux gear failure less than an hour ago -of course they were with much better shots.-
"This Lufthansa Airbus A380 pilot says goodbye to his friends after a great weekend at Oktoberfest after takeoff"
There ain't no Oktoberfest In Leipzig. Leipzig airport is used for qualification flights and go around training as LH bringing A380 back into service.
is that a380 clip recent
Yes, this was filmed about 1-2 weeks ago!
Lufthansa uses that airport to re-certify pilots on the A380. They started on May 7th and repeated it on several occasions after, so the clip can't be older than 3 weeks. They take off in MUC, fly to LEJ, perform about 20 touch & gos and then land in MUC again.
❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
I ❤
AeroScaro
Clearly that A380 was experiencing wake turbulence from the previous C172 take off.
damn that 787-10 is long, not much margin there!
When did they start parallel operations at MMMX?
I thought those were people on the 4th one
Without even retracting the gear!
747 wanted to be an A340
that sucker was bouncing like nothing LOL
Can someone please explain to me what the wing wave manoeuvre was in the first clip?
it's just showing off, but uses fanciful words like 'wing wave manoeuvre'...... sounds better and important that way
It was after a training day for the crew at LEJ. The crew noticed that some spotters were watching all the time and said goodbye. We also had Planemania here doing a livestream when the first training was performed, also there we got a beautiful wing wave when the bird was leaving.
It’s just really cool to see such happy crews enjoying what they do and appreciating us on the ground 😊
@@TheSnakeTD Ahhh cool. Cheers dude. 🙂
0:57 drop it like it's hot
A380 wing wave is like an elephant trying to do twerking
Looks majestic af
Why do planes make a return instead of flying onto its destination?
I understand if it is saferty critical or an engine problem but for example that bogie, the aircraft would have less fuel and so be lighter by the time it arrived wherever and be less stressful on the failing parts, would it not?
They couldn’t retract the gear.
Not even a little close to a tail strike unless you have had a few beers.
Fun fact: there was no passengers inside and the pilot just wanted to have some fun
What is the purpose of wing waves?
it's just showing off, but uses fanciful words like 'wing wave manoeuvre'...... sounds better and important that way
not the most butter- friendly video, thats for sure
Looking edited firdt clip
anyone think clip #1 is really 'Microsoft Flight Simulator'
You've got to wonder whatever the CL crew did their walk around properly 👀
Of course they did. 🙄 just cuz u did a walk around, doesn’t mean stuff can’t break afterwards.
@@rtbrtb_dutchy4183 oh did they? Have you seen the report? Or where you there?
@@ozbolli you are the one “wondering” and hinting towards accusing them.
We all do our walk arounds. It’s ingrained. Plus you have ground crew as well. Just because everything is normal during a walk around, doesn’t make the airplane bullet proof.
@@rtbrtb_dutchy4183 what are you banging on about? Do you not that this would be something the relevant transportation board would ask? It's called a theory, brains.
@@ozbolli just stop. Seriously. They did a walk around. Nobody is gonna know if it was done properly or not, unless u can read their minds. But it’s likely they did a proper walk around. There is a lot of stuff you can’t tell with a walk around.
Might want to state which ones are not real and just simulations and the few that are.
Losing a complete bogey? Poor maint.
I’m glad it’s not my plane
1:47 Pitching up like that after touchdown can be really dangerous. If the plane has slowed to the point where the rudder isn't effective, but still has it's nose in the air, it basically has no way to steer. If something should happen that causes the plane to yaw (wild gust of wind, reverser malfunction, etc), it's going off the runway. Short of ramming the nose gear quickly into the ground to regain steering, the pilot can do nothing.
The rudder is still effective. Down to pretty low speeds. If the elevator can still keep the nose up, the rudder can still move the nose left or right.
And it has differential braking as well.
Damn that US ScAir landing hurt my soul.
what a sluggish battleship :-D
BA hiring RyanAir pilots now?
All done before they raised the landing gear... Seems a tad sloppy
Aircargo, where undercarriages go to die.
Hard landing isn’t bad landing. Except for Ryanair. They land badly.
2:32 Delta pilot hatin because he’s not working for British Airways
Why would he wanna work for BA and make way less money?
Uhm, are we seriously commenting on video games? The only one real was the crab into the crosswind landing
Love the edited thumbnail shows an A380 at an extreme bank… then watch the video and it’s a series of shallow turns 🤦🏼♂️
it's absolutely normal just like women wearing fake up.....errrr.... make-up

380 pound figure skater trying to do a triple sokel.
Bro picked the worst video for the cargolux
That's hardly "extreme". Never even ventures past a standard bank angle.
Anyone tell me what is going on with the a380 in the first clip
it's just showing off, but uses fanciful words like 'wing wave manoeuvre'...... sounds better and important that way
They are saying "Goodbye", leaving the airport for the first or last time.
It was after a training day for the crew at LEJ. The crew noticed that some spotters were watching all the time and said goodbye. We also had Planemania here doing a livestream when the first training was performed, also there we got a beautiful wing wave when the bird was leaving.

2.45 of aviation and 2.55 mins video! What happened to 3 mins of aviation???
👍👍👍👍😍
where is my 5 seconds of aviation, at least give more content if youre gonna copy ppl
Why, now why does the aviation send those airplanes ✈️ to fly under weather conditions? 🙄
Because
1) weather can change between taking off someplace far away and arrival at the destination
2) idiot passengers don't give a damn anything but getting flown to their destination, no matter what
3) it's still safe to do so
4) delays of any kind are fucking expensive. Depending on airport and airplane, several hundred dollars per MINUTE
5) passengers don't give a damn about anything but their own schedule
6) it's still safe. Pilots train for that kind of situation, not just once but several hundred times
And before you ask, yes, passengers are that stupid. I had people come up to me at the gate, asking why the plane is delayed and why they can't fly while a severe thunderstorm was just above the airport. You have no idea how selfish and idiotic people can be at airports.
First
First for ✈️
You owe us 5 seconds of aviation 😂
Why would he/she do those wing waves? Passengers, if any, might not enjoy!
Wing waves are done when leaving an airport on a certain airplane for the first or last time. No passengers on board, usually.
@@CerberusTenshi Thank you.
If you're going to lie in the video title to trick people into watching the videos you collect, why not title them stuff like, "Spruce Goose does loops under Golden Gate Bridge" or "Blue Angels get in epic dogfight with Thunderbirds"?
You wouldn't be doing anything different than you're already doing and you'd trick way more people into watching.
Are you commenting on the wrong video...?
