"Honest review" Yet you get the chair for free and say nothing bad about it.. that's some BS in my opinion.

if you actually opened your ears and listened, he clearly says the DX is more comfortable than the GT. ( In other words, the GT is not as comfortable as the DX) I guess 91 people don't listen too well either.

Had a GT Omega which broke last week after 2-3 years, so now I am sitting in the Master XL , also GT Omega. Great brand and I love it.
I was asking myself this exact question a few days ago.
I ended up choosing neither and going for Maxnomic, lol.

You should have mentioned the materials used for the chairs. It looks like the DXRACER is leather, and the other one is cloth.
Wouldn't of been fair as GTOmega do leather ones as well.

*Faux leather, GT omega has Faux Leather models as well. The only ones who do actual leather I think are Noble Chairs but they're nearly twice the price of DXRacer and nearly three times that of DXRacer... at which point it might actually be cheaper to get a GT-omega chair and then ask your local leather worker to do redo it :P
Could the firmness be from the fact that the GT hasn't been broken in? And the aesthetics of the stitching will vary with the two different colors.
Just bought the GT Omega Pro XL and so far it's kicking my DxRacer's ass for comfort and stability and for the same reasons you set out...the DxRacer is too soft and doesn't offer the same level of support....still a good chair but the GT Omega wins. I went with the all black so i could use it with any color theme for my set up

I have the same DX racer chair (although for some reason a different head cushion) and I do enjoy it a lot, one thing i do notice as well is the arm rests are curved inwards making angular arm positions very awkward as your arm is sitting on the lip sometimes. other than that I really like my dx racer but I prefer a flat arm rest

my DX racer king series is the worst rip off/ chair ive ever bought. good luck with Thier garbage customer service....Canada or us. Don't fall for it watching those twitch guys. Do not buy this product....repeat do not buy!

I have a DXRacer Formula and i can rotate the arm rest left/right... I might be wrong but mine is probably the most low end one and again i can adjust the arm rest up/down and rotate left/right ;)

Just got my GT omega yesterday, and as someone that has had a back-op I can honestly say that it is working wonders for my posture! The chair is comfy and is perfect for long gaming sessions. The head pillow is not comfortable for me, but each to their own.

For some reason, all manufacturers decided to make rock-hard neck pillows. I had to put it underneath many clothes. After couple days it became softer.

nice comparative review, but i own a dxracer tank series im a big guy. and the arm rests on the tank have all the same adjustment points.
The DXRacer looks like it was made for your setup.

There are just too many of these racer chairs on the market now. I cant tell which one is reliable as they all look the same. I had 2 dx racers break within 2 years.

I'm aware of that, was just wondering if the GTOmega fabric or GTOmega leather would be better for me, since they cost the same. :D GTOmega even sells these on the German Amazon for 200€

DXracers are over priced and its basically the same thing. I ended up getting a gtomega for 150. The same style DXracer would be 450...sooooo........

Hi TotallySilenced Tech, I have a question. I watched your setup Video and i loved it, but the thing is, you didn't tell us what your Speaker stands are. I found out that they are from AudioEngine but i don't know which model. Is it the Audioengine DS1 or the Audioengine DS2?

Hey man, im really interested in the gt omega chair, mainly because ive seen in other reviews, that the bottom chair itself can be tilted and adjusted, is this also true in any dx racer chairs? I know how dx racer chairs can be easy to slouch in and i dont want that, so adjustable bottom half of the chair would be great, i love the leather look and comfort that dx racer offers, just need that tiltable chair.
Yes both chairs tilt and rock in the same way, I would also like to point out, that GT Omega offer leather as well :)

Not a very comprehensive review.. What's the max seat height for example? without cushion. The site is not very clear about this.
Also what is the seating material made of. DX racer looks like leather allround? Gt omega looks like something else or a mix of leather and something else?

Herman Miller is way better and IMO the embody (black) looks better than any gaming chair. DXRacer only give respect to popular people or people they like. Children are getting scammed by gaming chair companies they think it looks good but then when they receive it, it’s uncomfortable. There are a lot of rant about gaming chairs on TH-cam.

Point out a part of the video that's Jaggy? Looks fine to me, there's a bit on the GTOmega logo at the start. That's due to the camera being so sharp, I have it decked to it's lowest setting.

Your DXRACER is very outdated. The armrests are very old. GTOMEGA copied to armrests from DXRACER. Im not a fanboy, im just pointing out the facts. ;)

These chairs are a waste of money but having a good chair is very important. Just like a good bed, you are going to be spending a large part of your life in it, you dont buy a 400$ bed that will fuck your back up and break down in a few years. Get a herman miller or steelcase chair with proper ergonomics, it will save your back and wrist in the future, and can be found for 400-500$ if you watch around, same price as these shitty chairs and herman's have a 12 year warranty to boot
you must be either rich or smoking crack dude, sure Herman Miller chairs are great but they're far prier than any of these chairs.Same goes for the Steelcase. If Iwas going to spend 500+ for a chair I'd agree with you but I think you're a bit out of touch with the audience here...
not rich, but why buy a crap chair you will replace in a few years for 100-200 when you can get a chair that wont break down, has proper ergonomics(this is most important point here) and comes with a 10-15 yr warrenty for 500-600? I have HM from the 70s and 80s that still look and feel great. Cheap foam filled chairs like this wont hold up like that.
Cory R, will you shut the fuc up about your overhyped herman millers? These are budget chairs. 24 hour chairs are the more expensive version of gaming chairs. Go compare that to herman miller and walk the fuck away.

Thank god you talked about the cushion firmness, because honestly, we can see the aesthetics ourselves online and form our own opinions.
I prefer the GT Omega chairs because I'm a bigger guy and to get a DXracer would that would be big enough for my size and weight would cost about $500 which I cant really justify paying for a chair.
