really excellent tutorials! thank you so much for explaining this tool in such depth! would be great to have the tools in English (perhaps as a subtitle overlay?) just for clarity. thank you thank you thank you!
Very Cool! It would be great to see how the Morph tool could help us start with an organic mass model on site, downwards to BIM elements like slabs, walls, etc.... and ultimately get to documentation. Taking an example like a Zaha Hadid project or anything of that sort....is that possible? if yes, could you demonstrate it in a video? I am actually fairly new to ArchiCAD. I used Sketchup and AutoCAD for years and AC has been highly recommended for BIM....i heard about some limitations and how Revit is better in this regards, but not as intuitive. Let's face it: we want to focus our time on architecture and less on how to master a program...
Ok, love the tutorials and you make it look easy, but I can't work it out. I am trying to replicate your entire morph video, but am stuck on the very first rectangle. When I draw a rectangle on ground floor using morph tool, it doesn't show up on 3d. Why? I am using Archicad 20.
I am glad you found it. But it doesnt make ans difference of you are in the perspective or in the axonometry. Sometimes it helps to Center the view (ctrl+0). Maybe you couldnt see the rectangle because it was in the middle of nowhere
Thank u for this amazing video. You told that every object could change to morph. Can I change the morph to a specific object? For example: Can I change a morph object to wall object?
good tutoriel thank you,,,,but i t think the most difficult is to do the parametric architecture with archicad likes projets of zaha hadid ,norman foster etc ,,,its very difficult to do it in archicad if not impossible
Hey Hani! It definately is possible. But you have to put a lot of effort and especially time in it. But all the deconstructive architects like Hadid, Foster, Gehry and Libeskind are using Rhino/Grasshopper for their stuff. And there is an interface for Rhino in Archicad. But if you have enough time, you can build it with morphs too.
I think you just haven't blended in your morph-pallete. You can look for it in your taskbar on the top. As I am using the german version, I'm not 100% sure how the english names are. But it must be something like View > Palettes > Morphs. Otherwise you can click on a morph and then rightclick in the middle of nowhere and you have the Boole Operations there. Maybe you find it under Rightclick > Connect > BooleOperations. Let me know if it worked.
How can I reach you? I need help with my school city market project. I having trouble designing the roof. My design alludes a covered pot , the roof being the cover.
very nice tutorial..boosted my spirits in getting over the difficult learning curve

Thank you! I have an INT Version since a couple of month. So the newer videos are all in english.

Thanx for your vids, totally helpful hv more Qs how is it possible to form curved wires in 3D for a facade or so...
Hello Vitka, can you show me an example of the wires you mean? Something to let plants grow on?
i have traditional furniture design the main element is robs How can I make it with Archicad ??

Not directly. But you can shape walls with Solid Element Operations (SEO). But you're very limited using this method.
QreativeHome I don't get it LOL. Anyway, thank u
I will show you. I make a quick video right now.

How can you create slanted timber column that are in a circle but lean outside a circle like a fustrum
Danke shone. Du bist gut teacher ;-)
How can I create a pillow with morph
It's easier to use the mesh tool for the pillow
how can someone change morph to any other tool or object like to wall or beam or any other thank you
DAftone Githinji That doesn't work. Once a Morph, always a Morph. Only the other way around works. You can transform everything into a morph.
Thank you
whats your email adress ill like to ask something personal but about archicad
DAftone Githinji you find it in my TH-cam-profile
Thanks nice one
U saved my life
