Rest I believe that post update all the functions and features would be the same. Also, are there any better alternatives available around 20k (for both ios and android)? Kindly help. Thank you.

Nope, I had that same observation too. In fact, even the official Amazfit GTR 4 webpage no longer has any mention of the same. As of right now, there hasn't been an announcement needless to say this isn't a good sign.
Have you noticed any major improvement in the heart rate tracking in the GTR4 vs GTR3 Pro? I can still return my 3 Pro and upgrade for a 4, I am not sure if it is worth the extra money.
@@wearholic thanks. It's not that important. I actually bought and wore a Polar H10 for a week alongside the watch and it gave me a lot of confidence in the watch. It's slower to get a precise reading, but it does eventually agree with the Polar, meaning for the most part that it is quite accurate.
GTR 4 already has Pro features. They are not going to add a pro to it. It is pretty much the same as the GTR 3 pro but updated OS and tracking features. So, no reason to add a pro for the 4th series.
My gtr3 lasts over 20 days with tracking my gym trainings every 2 days... I call that heavy usage actually... 😊

No major improvement but if accuracy is a requirement then GTR 4 external heart rate strap support will come in handy.

Both Amazfit GTR 3 & 4 support custom replies on Android devices.
However, you cannot type your own messages like you can on Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.
