Your going to have an Amazing trip! Taking a Drone is not a problem, you just have to register with the Namibian drone authority and go trough their aprovement process. Make sure you do it on time, because it can take some time.

Hey Gabi, super nice that your reaching out. I’m glad to hear you had a good trip and made it all the way there, that’s a nice goal to cross off the list ! With the drone you always have to be a bit careful, but in general there isn’t to much to go wrong, as long as you at looking at what your doing and stay away from obstacles :) I’ll definitely have a look at your trip videos :)

They Are called Namibia Catamaran Charters. They have multiple boats and Go out 2 times a day. They always have somebody on board that Can Tell you about the animals and their Habitats everytime they Go out. Can Highlight recommend it :)

Don’t think I’d still be alive if I tried doing over 200 tough :p And as you can tell from about 5:40, I didn’t really know where to go 😅

I do have one. But in this case it was only a 15ish minute walk from the lodge we were staying at. So was a bit of an overkill to contact international rescue over the Inreach device :)

@@Dutch-Moto-Venture oh okay, I was just thinking about situations where you could be stuck in a dangerous area like Etosha National Park.. you have no option to walk.

@@P.thoma5 no very true. That’s why I have an inreach with me. Basically an SOS beacon that works over gps, so also without cellphone reception. Than you can call for help of you can’t walk or it’s to far. Always good to have with you for any road trip stuff

Yes it was, I tried to revitalise the desert, it don’t work… I get all my music from Artlist, that covers all the royalties of the music they provide

The short answer is yes, you do. Rules may change, but as of my knowledge, for now you have to register your drone with the agency of the country you live in and do the required courses (Depending on the size of your drone) In Namibia you have to apply for permission to fly. They usually want to know when, where and what you are filming for how long. This means you have to plan it all in advance. Under normal circumstances you are not allowed to film in any of the national parks or game reserves. Some private parks may give you permission if you request a flight in their park. Make sure that If you use a drone in Namibia or anywhere else with animals that you don't disturb any of the animals or people. This will make it a lot easier to get permission and for future flyers to get permission to :)

@@Dutch-Moto-Venture thank you for the reply. We are heading to Namibia soon but without a drone. So many places (worldwide) don’t allow them or have strict regulations (as they should). Great videos btw, loved watching them

I didn't expect to get stuck, I stopped there to take a drone video of the ride. When I tried to take off, I just dug myself in, and sadly it was too late for deflating the tires and driving out. Should have done that before :(

I tried that after I had already got stuck, sadly it was too late to get myself out by locking the diff and deflating the tires. Should have done that before, I underestimated the soft sand

Please do a course or something before you damage a vehicle or somebody gets hurt :P

Yes, I noticed the same thing, I am still trying to figure out if there is a way to use FCP to make it all the same volume somehow. At least something to work on for next time :)

@@Dutch-Moto-Venture you can detach audio from the clips. Then adjust the music volume.

Highly recommend it, most fascinating country I visited, absolutely worth it

Hello, The viewpoint is located up at Penegal, a beautiful little side road from the top of the Mendola Pass, near Bozen. We are standing on the terrace of the Panorama Hotel Penegal, the view from there is beautiful.
