    These kind of clips are so vital to the high school history learners. Is it expensive to organizations such as the SABC to keep such records?

      I wish they'd digitise and release their archives. Tried to contact them many times during the 2000s and 2010s but never got a reply. So it looks like we're stuck with whatever small bits people like us can find on old VHS cassettes :(

    Super interesting. I was only between the ages of 3/4 in 1997. So I was into everything but news at the time lol But It's quite fascinating to go back and see how much has changed and not changed.
