With a regular glow stick you use up the whole thing and it’s done even if you only need to for a short time, once it’s broken you use the whole stick up until it burns out . In the long run you will spend more on the glow sticks.
I would be worried it would lose all of its charge just sitting in my getout bag and I would forget to recharge it every now and then, plus where are you going to charge it while you're on the move in an emergency situation? Also no bottle opener so 2/10 survival gear at best.
Hahaha youre right about the bottle opener! Its still that constant battle of whats better to carry. Rechargeable or not. A glowstick is basically a battery you cant turn off once its on. So is it better to worry about the charge or worry about having a one time use?

It DOES have a lock out mode to prevent accidental charge drain.
