Don't Think : Dub Techno jam ft. Soundwaste Sample Pack (TR8S / Digitone / SP505 / MS70CDR)

- Back to something more spontaneous, a "One Pattern Jam" like I used to do with my volcas or groovebox etc. Not overthinking about it before playing, just making a little pattern in each machine and jamming :)
The Drum kit in the TR8S + the texture sample in the SP505 are coming from the Soundwaste Sample Pack from Petite Victory Collective. They recorded some trashes sounds during their latest ‘Art For Ocean’ clean up/workshop here in Copenhagen.

@@krostifmusic en tout cas j adore le son d ambiance qui lie le tout. Ce que j' ai du mal à faire cela se ressent je pense sur mon live dub techno de 45min.
@@chiralll oui ça se fait beaucoup en dub techno surtout, mais c'est la 1ere fois que je le fais 😅 ici c'est un sample de bruit d'emballage plastique il me semble, froissé dans la main, avec un gros echo et de la reverb par dessus .. trouves des sons de nature (vent dans les feuilles des arbres, pluie, rivière, vagues...) ou de souffle et craquements de vinyl, ou des sons de rues avec des voix floutées... ce genre d'idées... puis tu joues ça en boucle de fond sonore avec un peu d'effets par-dessus.. c'est qu'une idée de départ après tu adaptes à ton son 🙂

Haha, je viens tout juste de me décider.. un plan octatrack d'occas vient de tomber à l'eau 😅 donc je vais prendre un digitakt oui, tant pis pour les samples stéréo. J'aurais presque pu prendre un akai force, le prix a bien baissé même si c'est encore au dessus de mon budget.. mais j'ai vraiment peur de pas aimer le workflow Akai donc tant pis aussi. Le digitakt fera l'affaire, puis j'ai l'habitude des limitations 😅
@@krostifmusic en ce moment je recompile tout et j’essaye de construire un gros liveset avec plusieurs jams.. alors je replonge dans la MPC. Après un an je découvre encore une foule de trucs. Mais c’est compliqué!!! Si tu es habitué à la digitone il faut mieux rester sur Elektron.. dommage pour l’octatrack!! Je louche souvent sur cette boîte aussi :) :)
