A Cairngorm Classic - Trekking the trails and Wild Camping|October 2018, On the Adventure Trials Scotland
An adventure to the magnificent Cairngorm National Park. Starting that the Ski centre and heading up to Cairn Gorm then a classic circuit of the Loch Avon, Loch Etchachan where we camped. The next morning, we would head to Ben MacDui, crossing the vast and exposed Cairngorm plateau. The weather changed our plans a little and instead of heading down Coire an t-Sneachda we detoured via Lurchers Crag and then down the western ridge of Cairn Lochan.
