I am 80 living in St. Augustine, Florida. I workout 3 days a week, and am in good shape for someone my age. I play golf 3 days a week, and I am a bogey golfer with a 19.2 handicap index. I enjoy watching your videos, and I enjoyed reading your book, The Bad Lie. I am not hitting the ball as far as I need to and my putting has become my nightmare on the course. I pull a lot of my shots (e.g., tee shots, approach shots, wedges), and would be interested in seeing drills that will help me correct this problem. Thanks for the videos! Bill Abare
I’m 60 and didn’t play as a younger person! I’ve had two blown low back issues and five shoulder surgeries I didn’t hit too long and I’m pretty much an arm swinger but always looking for a bit more length! Great content 😄

Bless you Todd! 57yrs old with worn out knees, hips and lumbar....But I love golf. Played most high impact sports in my youth especially Squash. All that lunging was not good in the long run.
Hi Todd Englishman living in France... My local course is not easy with water present on 13 of the 18 holes, a length of nearly 7100 yds, and a total slope of 146 from the back tees (5800 yds front tees) I am 77 , took up golf two years ago at 75. All is good I enjoy it immensely. On a good day I shoot around 20 over par, my problem is not direction as I hit my driver and irons pretty straight..hitting 11 out of 13 fairways, my problem is I can't hit GIR even from the front tees How can I get more distance ?

Hey Todd. I’ve watched a lot of your videos. I have never seen a video that shows how to determine the proper distance to stand from the golf ball at setup. Any suggestions? My name is Leonard and I’m 71 years old.
Hi Todd, I’m 58 with aches and pains in lower back. Have been trying to rotate more and get more compression in the contact. With limited results. Slow swing, no hcap player in the Country of Golf, Scotland, Stirling. Cheers Paul

Andrew, appreciate the post and support. Make sure your weight is getting to the lead foot at impact. The bottom of the swing will tend to follow the movement of weight...hope this helps.
I'm 73 with remarkably few aches and pains but have arthritis in my back which limits my hip and shoulder rotation, and therefore my clubhead speed and distance. Central Texas. I'm hoping that your suggestion of making right hip pocket go backwards instead of right will help that!
Todd! I guess you would have to be a "snowbird" if you wanted to continue your videos in the wintertime! Good for Us! As a "experienced" golfer, rotation or "lack of" is one of my main challenges. I feel that my weight transfer is not the problem and I don't feel I sway; however, it's moving the body back and through that is the issue. Maybe, by starting the weight more on the lead foot would be the answer. Good Job Todd! Keep Up the Good Work!
65 and returning to golf after 30 year break! Driving off my right foot on the downswing is hurting the inside of my right knee. How can I transition onto the left foot without twisting my knee?
Hmm, good question. Ideally we like to see some push off the trail side, however any movement forward is good. Try focusing on the lead hip moving towards the target in the transition. This may be your answer. Also suggest you read the Vertical Line Swing concepts in The Bad Lie for a good understanding www.badliegolfbook.com/
@@USGOLFTVshow Thanks. I think my swing is pretty well the vertical line style. Just cannot fathom why the knee hurts. Does Todd do one-to-one coaching? I would love him to take a look at a video of my swing.
58. Several injuries! Left shoulder rotator cuff tear (slowly healing). Left knee scar tissue from surgeries. Left hip pain. Right shoulder pinched. Sciatica remnants in left leg. Get around shooting low 80s only hitting 1-4 greens in regulation. Distance abysmal! 7 iron carry distance 128. Was 145 before rotator cuff tear. Oh well. Cest la vie.
I'm 76. Pain in sprine, hips knee & a fused neck. I have golfed for 62 yrs. Many lessons but loosing distance. Have a hard time pointing feet out. I finish with weight on my lead leg. I turn as far as I can... was in a car accident at 14.
