Des and will in the same team. Wouldnt take long for those 2 to crack a venue i bet. 80s and 90s was best for match fishing i should think. 👌well done

Des is actually wrong about DAM being a different team. The Dorking team was D.A.M Dorking until 97, then we got Daiwa sponsorship. Des came a bit later on so that would be why he doesn't remember the D.A.M days.

Just throw it out there but I am looking to track down old fishing mate, we travelled the circuit with Farnborough in te 70s and 80s but I lost track of him after i married in 88 .Steve Champion then went on to fish under the Dorking banner but has since given up and gone into Aston cars. Anyone know of him as i would love to get back in touch.

Rubbish memories! High field, Barnsley, Essex, Dorking, Starlets and Trentmen with the top teams. Highfield were the best for a while. Northern teams dominated the main events for a long team.
