    The small creature reminds me of Slimer from Ghostbusters but with sharp teeth and a nose ring! I love the multi colored teeth where the whiter parts are towards the middle of the tooth and there is shading on the edges of the individual teeth. Gives it great 3D effects and as "they" say, makes it POP! The drool effects are very intuitive and creative thinking "outside the box". I throw away desiccant packets every other week and to think i should have been saving them to make drool. How man-ly awesome is that?! I know this video is old but everyone has to learn sometime! Thank you for your effort and time in providing this video for the masses. I found it educational and very easy to understand and I feel I am more skilled, no, wrong word, confident in what I am wanting to accomplish in my painting and accents for my minis. Hurrah!

    Pitt Meadows, B.C. Sean. Great trick, love the way it looks. I was hoping to use this for a finishing effect on a custom 3 headed mini I am making for my warhammer fantasy chaos warriors. My current plan was to use a hot glue gun to run strings of gore/blood between the torn asunder segments of some poor fool that got too close to my beast and was rent in twain. I was going to follow that with Greenstuffworld's UV Resin to build up the body of the bloodpour/gore. I don't think your trick will work for my issue as the space is about 4 inchs apart. But I really love this trick. You have a way of explaining things that really works for me. Thank you for all you do.

    Hey, great to hear you're setting up a patreon, I would donate, if I had disposable income.
    Something I would prefer though is having your channel update as it's own video, or maybe at the end of the video. So I could easily get to the part I most want to see (no offense meant), or if I would need to revisit the video in the future , I wouldn't have to see an announcement I've all ready seen.
    Anyhow, I look forward to more content. 😁

    • @IWasDeadOnce

      @IWasDeadOnce 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GeekGamingScenics Lukes Aps it's not hard at all to skip, I just said that it would be something I would prefer.
      Just because some content is free doesn't mean it can't be criticised or improved.
      And sure what I mentioned might not be an improvement, or have been phrased in a different way.
      I just know that if I wasn't intrested in the channels future and just came for the tutorial, I would be annoyed if the first half of the video was him talking about something I hypothetically wouldn't care about. Especially if the title of the video is about doing drool on miniatures and the channel update is just mentioned in a parenthesis, leading me to believe that it would be a minor part of the video.
      Also I by no means mean that he should remake the video, I just would prefer it if he made it a bit easier in future videos.

    have you concidered setting up a discord server? it could be a great place to establish a community and share our models with eachother and ask for painting advice?

      Hey mate, it's a great idea - Even though the focus at the moment is that i will be starting with a facebook group, i don't exclude the idea of making a discord server in the future! 😌

    I know this is not really related to the video, but after watching quite a few of these videos (from this and some other channels) I've noticed the lack of use of a masking tape. Why is that?

    • @SquidmarMiniatures
      @SquidmarMiniatures  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cause I like having fun when I paint, masking stuff isn't fun To me 😁 it's just one of these things: I try not be be afraid of failing when I paint, try to make it more of a joy process.
