Grew up watching these on all the old tv shows in the early 60’s. Have loved them ever since.
It's a good intro for aspiring rotary wing pilots who most likely will have to learn from a piston powered helicopter specially for civilians who must pay their own way. Reminds me of my first nitro powered RC helicopter that came with a flybar rotor head and newer models became flybarless powered by high output lithium polymer batteries.
Are you sure it was just a flybar or did it have paddles as in the Hiller Rotormatic system?
